We will have to disagree on the your belief that a drunk driver who gets into a collision is not an accident. I doubt that hardly any drunk drivers run into someone on purpose, even though they are impaired, the same is true for people who are distracted while driving and get into a collision. Virtually none of them run into someone on purpose, so even though they are impaired, they still didnt do it on purpose.
The primary purpose of guns is to kill or injure people. The primary purpose of cars is not to kill or injure people, but to provide transportation.
Would you like to see the expansion of what citizens can own that falls under the heading of "arms", up to and including nuclear arms?
I have seen a truck camper where you could enter from the cab. They had these in New Zealand where I rented one. I don't think the camper was removable from the truck.
I selected a van because of the entry into the quarters without having to get out of the vehicle. I would need help removing the camper from a truck unless there is a special lift that could do this. It takes me less than five minutes if I am plugged in to move since I usually run off of tanks for water and sewer and fill/dump once a week or every two weeks.
If you don't mind the truck noise when you park near them, then Flying J or other trucks stops are ok for a night. I don't buy diesel from them. The are usually 30 to 40 cents more then other stations near by. Diesel at Flying J near me in SE Texas, $2.999, diesel at Walmart nearby @2.599 about 40 cents more. Even with the 8 cent discount the price is to high.
I have a 99 4700 Stalick conversion with the DT530E (300HP) with Allison 6 speed automatic.. Stability and braking are great, fuel mileage is a bit disappointing. We can run at 100km/60mph all day pulling 18500lbs on the flats but the hills make it suck. The 444 is the equivalent of a the 7.3l in Ford trucks, there may be more performance enhancements than what are available to be.
