    • Hi, I got a voicemail about a "pending civil complaint" to be filed in Polk Co. Had my Escapees address and phone number. Pretty sure a scam as the phone numbers don't answer and internet search brings up nothing. Called from an 858 area code and 877 number from message doesn't work. A pretty good scam though! Lady sounded professional and not your typical scam artists voice. Ended the message with "you have been served" as-if a voicemail is a legal way to subpoena you!  Anyone else get one of these calls? Careful out there! You know the drill for legal issues, it'll be in the mail so don't get tricked and give out anything on the phone or email!
    • I fully understand taking a deep breath and then telling a vet to go ahead with whatever treatment is needed. Our previous dog, which was a rescue, we got as a puppy and had her for 14 years before cancer took her. She was mixed breed and part Shar Pei which was the cause of a lot of vet visits, that breed has thin or fragile skin so she easily found things to test that and I lost count of how many stitches she required over the years. But she was a member of the family and and an excellent traveling companion so we could do no less. When we got our current little rescue I debated getting pet insurance but I could not find a policy that covered more than routine office visits without costing considerably more. So we are again rolling the dice on vet care costs and so far have been on the winning side.
    • I guess I am a little bored, so at times so I look up different historical things. Some of the places I have been. Or want to go see.
    • Today we very sophisticated, computerized weapons.   I have stood in this style computer room?   This a hint.
