We are in Barstow California for the annual desert clean up and prerunning! this is an amazing event where overlanders, campers and outdoor enthusiasts get together and clean a local desert. It's a great event, the desert community gets together with many sponsors. They provide, all the cleaning supplies, dumpsters, t-shirts and event a huge raffle. We went out with the toy hauler, filled the truck with trash and watched some trucks jump. Hopefully this catches on!

After having issues with our 5th wheel contacting our trailer we starting looking into all options. The Andersen Ultimate Connection kept catching our eye, this hitch is lighter and stronger than ever! Weighing in at 35 lbs it makes the removal process simple and helps with our payload. With this installation I filmed as much detail as I could while also getting the job done. This hitch helps solve the problem short bed truck owners face, the base pushes the hitching point back 4 inches. Then when you install the coupler depending on your setup and configuration you can gain another 4 in

We hope to be purchasing our truck soon (350/3500 dually), so it's time to research 5th wheel hitches. I know that many people have an "air ride" hitch. It appears that they are about 2x the cost of a standard hitch. Are they worth it? Why do you choose (or not choose) an air ride hitch? Which brand is "best"? I know, as with most things, these decisions are somewhat subjective, but the opinions of the experienced members help all of us. Thanks in advance. Mark
