    Help wanted:

WE have one of the oldest free entry amusement parks in Pa called Knoebels which is also having a hard time getting employees, they are trying their best to stay operational with less food stands open and even some rides they can not staff, I hear one ride takes 7 people to operate and it is one of the most popular rides in the park. My wife and I are actually running a Forest River Owners Group ( FROG ) rally there in 2 weekends brining in 40 rigs
  2. Good info that might save someone some aggravation down the road. We just did a transfer because of a death in the family and corporate was very good in helping us complete it, no transfer fee and the dues even remained frozen which worked out great for us.
  3. This is where we stayed when we visited the Gilmore Museum also, nice place to camp with plenty of room

    Hub Oil Change

I did this once when I worked as a UPS driver and they tried to say it was driver abuse. This was during my pre-trip
  5. A Walmart near me has the exchange for $14 which I do not think is bad, especially if the date codes are getting old, For my 40lb bottle I have been averaging $33-35 each, Tractor Supply is currently $3.09 a gallon near ne
  6. Very well said Henry, and thanks for all the help you have provided to everyone exploring the hdt route
  7. The Bay Bridge toll is paid going eastbound, so going to Ft. Meade they would NOT have to pay

    I bought a truck

    Very nice, congrats!!!!!
  11. We were lucky that our home state registered ours as a motorhome with a RV license plate, to bad they could not do it that way for you. We are in Delaware
  12. Yes but you can pump your own diesel, in fact I got into a argument with the attendant years ago at the Flying J at the south end of 295 because he tried to insist my Ford F-350 was only supposed to take unleaded, I told him to get his manager which he did and promptly was informed to let me fuel my own diesel truck.
  13. I hope there will be pictures for those that could not make it his year 😟
  14. Yup that's the one I was thinking about, wonder what kind of a deal you could get to rent one for one of the rallies where it could be put to use on multiple trucks. Just thinking out loud.
  15. Wonder how much it would cost to rent one of the small cherry pickers that you can tow behind a vehicle with the four stabilizer feet.
  16. Did anyone hear that Bucee's is planning a Crossville Tn. location within the next 3 years, could you imagine if everyone at the ECR the year they opened went there to try and fuel up??? I wanted to go the new Daytona location on my way home from Florida but with the no semi signs didn't want to try my luck, went to Racetrack instead as they had the same price on diesel but it was a tight location and only could fuel up one tank
  17. I am sure you will have a great rally, wish we could have made it this year but already planning for next year. Have fun everyone!!!!!!
  18. Chinook is making a come back but not sure if it is the original one or someone bought the name and making a close copy.
  19. That is what I meant by my post a collector, I don't think for the price someone wanting a rv to travel would be interested.
  20. I think just like a person who collect vintage cars, this too is worth the asking price to the person who wants it. It was a well built unit in it's time and looks done really well, I am sure eventually someone will enjoy buying it.
  21. Yes the Truma is gas only. For your second question I believe the answer is no it does not operate like the Girard, I know when we take a navy shower we turn the water off at the shower head and when we turn back on for the rinse there is just a quick shot of cold then turns right to hot. When doing dishes if we turn off the hot water off say to scrub some dishes then go to rinse we usually always have hot water right away, I hope this is the info you were looking for

    My Bed design

Looking great and I bet it's nice having your grandson's help, plus think of all the on the job training they are receiving.
  23. Back in my early days ( 70-80's ) working for UPS it seemed that here on the east cost to mid-west they were mostly all cab over Mack's and in the west cab over Pete's, now when I retired in 2013 it was still mostly Mack but now it seems to be whatever brand gives the best price is what they get when they are ready to place a order. In my building when we got in a new to us Mack with less then a million miles on it we thought it we got a brand new truck 🤣
  24. There is a flow control valve on the rear of the unit, lower left corner ( I think ) it is white, we had one in our unit when we bought but the manufacture switched to the Truma brand and even upgraded ours at a rally for us. The Girard 2 is ok but a BIG learning curve
