A friend was having trouble finding airbags also, dealer said could be 2 months or more, he found some at a Fleet Pride shop near him. We will find out tomorrow if they fit or not, he took pictures to compare but I have not seen them yet or the bags to compare. Will let you know so if so maybe try them.

We are on the list now just waiting for the campground to call us with the good news we got in, we are actually not far from Crossville right now visiting friends in 10 Mile Tn.

Yes I called yesterday and the girl that answered mentioned that the person who handles the rally will be talking with you soon, and will get back to me when she knows who has reserved from last year to see what sites are available. At least I am on a list, have a friend who also wished to attend as we are almost done his truck. Thanks for the reply Carl, hope to see everyone in April

Wanted to wait until the National Rally was over and also trying to start planning for next year, will the ECR still be held next year and if so what dates? I know we will have to try and secure a site just need to know what dates to try and reserve, it's been a few years since I have attended and with the wife finally retired I will have travel company!!!!

What kind of time frame are you looking at as well, if your not in a BIG rush start looking thru both sub thread sections on MDT and HDT, I know I researched almost 2 years before we made our decision, but we did rv that whole time with a Ford F-350 dual rear wheels. Knowing we would eventually end up with a larger 5th wheel was why were looking for the larger truck. Don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how silly you may think they can be very important and if you have time try to attend a HDT Rally there is the National getting ready to start in Kansas then the next one is the East Coast Rally in Crossville Tn. in April then in June the West Coast in Id. There is a lot of very smart folks here that will guide you but don't be scared of by some of their bark they really don't bite and will be very helpful. Good luck on your decision.

Only had manuals when I was employed but for my rv hauler got the semi auto, I do not mind shifting but did get spoiled fast with the auto. Had to go with a friend when he got his Volvo with a 10 speed, I will say jumped right in like I never stopped shifting and even enjoyed the 6 hour trip home. Plus remember a manual trans is also a theft deterrent for the newer generation.

I know that feeling, I kept my F-350 mostly just to park the 5th wheel in our storage lot, then they finally let me move to a better spot that I could park the camper and hdt side by side with room to back in. Traded the truck for a Explorer and never looked back.

Very true, but we really have never had anything bad from there. A friend had the do-nut filled with soft serve ice cream and said it would probably send a diabetic person into a coma ( this being said only in a joking manner as it was just that sweet )

If you have the time try to plan a factory tour to see how they are really put together, in the factory where the Redwoods are built they also build the Crossroads Cameo, around the corner from there Cedar Creek and River Stone are built then not far in Howe is the DRV plant. Plus there is a lot of great tourist things to see and do while in that are and the Amish restaurants will have you gain some pounds, also stop at what a lot call the " Amish Crack House" which is really Rise n Roll Bakery with possibly the BEST donuts ever.

WE have used Duck Creek Resort but they are not cheap, very nice place across from Michigan Adventure

We usually stay at Fox Den Acres in New Stanton but it could be a 30 minute driver to the park. We usually head to Kennywood from Fox Den, not sure how much farther the ball park is. You would need to use the turnpike so figure in paying the tolls also.

Nice to hear you were able to get things fixed and just shows that sometimes you have to look beyond the typical rv places.

Try Jacks in Mitchell, fairly large 2 location dealer which was very helpful when I stopped in just for a part last year, not sure about Sat hours especially for service, I believe there is a campground not far from there if needed. Our unit came equipped with the Girard 2 water heater which was just ok, had a big learning curve with it but while at a rally for FROG the manufacture upgraded us to the Truma which of course we did not object to and have been very happy with it. They switched to the Truma in their build about a year or 2 after ours so that yea at that rallyr they switched 12 units as a good will offer, pretty nice in my opinion.

WE have one of the oldest free entry amusement parks in Pa called Knoebels which is also having a hard time getting employees, they are trying their best to stay operational with less food stands open and even some rides they can not staff, I hear one ride takes 7 people to operate and it is one of the most popular rides in the park. My wife and I are actually running a Forest River Owners Group ( FROG ) rally there in 2 weekends brining in 40 rigs
