  1. I am not sure exactly why either but the main storage bin always seems at least half the size, could just be because of the way the floorplans are, even on a front kitchen they seem smaller.
  2. Another thing no one has mentioned is that most front living room floorplans do not offer as much outside storage as the rear living ones. I did see at the Hershey show some now started raising the rear bedroom area for storage underneath but some folks did not like having steps inside at both ends, all comes down to choice. Good luck on your decision.
  3. We crossed that bridge this year and did see the toll rate sign before we crossed, I believe for out HDT and 5th wheel it was around $10.75 but we have EZ Pass which they accept. This was brought up on another discussion board I read and someone posted the complete rate scale and I was surprised to see they even charge more if you have a car with a loaded roof top carrier.
  4. Dave, sorry to hear of your parking fiasco in Taos, I knew the parking there was not going to be the greatest and that was BEFORE all the construction that is going on there. I stayed there 2 winters ago for skiing and it was tight then just with other guests cars, wish I had known it was that bad my son might have been able to arrange a spot at his work, a couple of miles up the road to the right after you leave the Wyndham. Anyway your in now so relax and enjoy the beautiful area, try eating at Michaels just across the street from the resort and another great breakfast spot is the Taos Diner, take a right of the complex and about 2 miles on your left is the Diner. Hopefully my son might find you and recommend other spots, if there on Sat. drive up to the ski area and find the Bavarian ( The Bav ) great German food and even better beer!!!!
  5. Mr. Cob did you get to Taos yet???? My son has been on the lookout for you.

  17. Congrats an your new ride and glad all went well on your trip home. If you were a UPS yard dog that far back you must have shifted in a old day cab Mack I know that was fun as I am retired from UPS after 37 years and know what their trucks are like, I learned on the real old F model Macks and even really older cab over Diamond Reos. You didn't get a good chance to run up and down the gears in the yard much. Good luck on the truck and waiting to watch your progress.
  18. We got a River Stone Legacy this past July and are very happy with it, we have been in it all but around 15 days so far and the only issue we had was a slide seal not staying in place, I noticed it while still in the area of the factory and called the plant foreman ( On a Sat. ) he said meet him at the factory and it will be taken care of. On his day off he met us and replaced it then checked the other slides to be sure and even replaced the other side just to be sure. No they are not the best unit you can buy but for the money and what you get it was a good next step for us, We used to have a Cedar Creek and were treated very well at the factory with service and River Stone has a lot of employees from Cedar Creek and the welcome there was just as good, any more help feel free to ask, good luck on your search also the Luxe is a very nice unit that was also in our sights.
