  1. I am in the Clermont area about 8 miles from Disney in the Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley there are multiple lots for sale here now from $50,000- $135,000, there are also houses with rv ports before the campground but did not see any for sale

    Loss of a friend

Sad news to hear, I met Mike a few years ago at the ECR and when you met him he made you feel as if he had known you for years, RIP Mike you will be missed.
  5. I had a sump pump line freeze once at my house after it exited the house, and I used a ceramic heater that I set up to blow hot air around the line, worked just like a hair dryer would but did not have to stand there holding it, just another option if you have a heater
  6. Wonderful job, congrats looks great!!!!!
  7. Our very first trip out with our truck I also got stopped in Florida bobtailing after getting fuel and my story sounds much like yours excluding the dogs, I was polite and the trooper was as well and also was pleased about us using the hdt for pulling a heavy camper. I do think more LEO's are understanding what we do.

    Sad News - Dave Matson

Randy thanks for letting us know and so very to hear this news. I met Dave at the FROG Rally when you were both in the Cedar Creek Owners Club he will be missed a very nice person RIP
  9. If you have been looking at the DRV's I would suggest you also look at the River Stone line as they are built similar and offer 3 levels, Reserve, River Stone and then the Legacy. We have had ours now going on 4 years without any real issues, yes we have had a few minor things and received excellent help from the factory when needed. Good luck on your search.
  10. Like I said in my post just thinking out loud as another option. Don't like it so keep looking 👍
  11. Have you looked at say a destination trailer like the Cedar Creek Cottage, more like a travel trailer with slides but much easier to move if needed especially not needing a permit. Just thinking out loud, might not be as roomy as a park model. 12. I think a park model with a very nice enclosed porch would be a perfect set up. I know that is what i would look for when our travels come to a end, good luck on your decision.
  13. Ok that's close to us, the state park is called Lums Pond State Park and if you would happen to join Passport America they offer half price Sun- Thursday
  14. Where is the 5th wheel in Delaware??? Just a fyi there is a state park in northern De. that is open year round with full hook ups if your looking for a place to start using it, there are state parks also in lower De that are year round just not sure if full hook ups.
  15. When I showed a representative from Coach-Net a picture of our truck at a rally the young lady was very nice and said still having 2 axles in the rear they would not tow us, went to GS with no issue but have yet to need road service ( holding my breath 😬)
  16. Let's hope the rally can still go on, this is the year my wife retires and I hope to attend again which will be her first year, and the best thing SHE is also looking forward to attend as I told her how fun it is.
  17. Very nice, great work plus your enjoying doing it so to me that's a win win
  18. When I am asked what my mileage is I nicely state I did not buy the truck for mileage I did it for safety and comfort.
  19. How about at a RV Surplus store? I added links to 2 different ones below. https://bontragers.com/ https://www.johnsonssurplus.com/
  20. Thanks for the update, the distance to town is our biggest factor but I am sure it is much more peaceful then the one in town
  21. Ok great, we are always looking for places in that area as our son lives in Taos, we usually stay in the nice campground in town but their prices are getting a bit to steep. We really need him to buy a place with room for us when we visit
  22. Are you between Taos and Angle Fire? If so we saw that campground was fixing the place up looks good if it's the same place, enjoy!!!
  23. Have you considered the 301 route thru Md & Va? It might be a bit longer but less traffic and a nicer drive. Plus there are other options from 301you could use as well
  24. I would suggest maybe the Taos or Red River area and ride the Enchanted Circle.
  25. Sounds like things are settled for the best, glad to see it worked out and they stood up when something was wrong, CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!
