    Covid Update

Hi Carl glad all is well there, we are at home in De as the wife still works and even tho schools closed she did work a couple of weeks for the to go lunch program, they have rotated workers so we believe she is done. Home projects seem to be at task but that is good so when this is all over we can hopefully head out. We had a condo vacation cancelled for Vero Beach next week and also the Forest River Owners Group ( FROG ) has cancelled all their June rallies muck like you did for the ECR and also proponed the April registration for their main rally in August. Stay safe and with some luck we will all be out camping soon and WE hope to attend next years ECR, been a while since I have been there.
  3. Let's add another possibility, if this was at say a large box store like Costco maybe they were buying that much to resell at a local small grocery store in a large city, I have seen folks do that with the 2 liter bottle of sodas because they were cheap then they sell them at a higher price at their store. Not price gouging per say just add cost for local convenience. Just a thought

    Tornado Hits Deer Run

Crossville Tn. area, it is where the East Coast HDT Rally is held in April ( not this year )
  5. I know when I yard jockeyed at a Amazon facility many driver would take sink baths in the drivers bathroom, good thing there was another bathroom inside we could use as the drivers one was always a bit on the nasty side.
  6. I just said this very thing to my wife last night as we took a much needed walk thru the campground of a state park that is near our house, as much as I am ready to start our season I figure it is best to wait and see where things head and leave sites for the full timers that need them the most
  7. You are so right Randy, bad it happened but good for where it happened.
  8. Sounds like 2 good seminars, really wish I could make this year but as always life gets in the way but I will be watching for next years dates and as a plus the wife SHOULD be retired by then which will make attending a lot easier. Have a great time
  9. Randy that sounds just like the same folks that flock to the Jersey Shore in the summer time form a bit north of our borders, they are proud of their bodies no matter what shape they are in, personally the shape mine is there is not enough coverage available to hide it 😱

    ET air valve

I will totally agree with you....but I bought the truck all ready to go so working with what I got, not complaining just trying to chase that what seems like forever air leaks

    ET air valve

The truck is in dire need of some new suspension bags this spring ( first on the list ) but the valve leaks badly when everything is aired up, the hitch works like it should but don't want to get caught in a bad situation from a bad valve. I might need to contact you after the bags are done to see that all is right, thank you Henry for your help.

    Service episode in TN

Always good to hear a decent settlement from a bad situation, very nice to see they stood up and did this for you.
  13. That is great finding a truck all ready set up for our use, I also was lucky to find ours with the Smart, plus quite a few folks here help convince me it was a good truck and price. The help you get here is priceless, good luck on your drive home and try your best to keep that grin off you face coming home

    ET air valve

Thanks Henry, the air feels like it is coming from the rear of the valve what looks like a black diaphragm or disk like.

    ET air valve

Weather was so nice here today I decided to take the truck for a drive plus fuel prices dropped some so put fuel in the truck. Anyway to my question, the air leveling valve on my hitch is leaking, I assume it just needs replaced but not sure what one to get or where, any info would be great. Thanks for any help.
  17. Yes they are great folks to deal with, I see them a couple of times a year, usually at the FROG Rally and they also have a booth at the Hershey show
  18. I have dealt with the folks from Techno RV as they are a vendor for TST not sure if they could offer a better deal or not. https://www.technorv.com/
  19. You must be talking about RL Jackson? I just had lunch this past Sat. at the Smokehouse BBQ right before them.
  20. We have a River Stone Legacy and have been very pleased with it, very few issues and most were from components used not the build it self. Thee is also a new manufacture just starting out that seems to be getting a lot of attention but honestly I know nothing about them other then what I read on Facebook but will be able to see one next week at the Md. show. Link below for them. https://www.alliancerv.com/

    Smart broke down

Ok good info, I knew yours was flood related but was getting nervous in some of the posts, what we have now scoots up pretty good just getting old with lots of miles and just want to move up to a newer one as they seem much nicer.

    Smart broke down

To work off this post, I am starting the search for a newer Smart, we have a 09 now that I drive on & off our truck with custom ramps, we hope to get one of the last year models that were imported. Our current Smart runs up the ramps really well and can stop and then proceed with no issues, my question is on the newer ones is there a difference how they might climb the ramps? Our ramps are not steep if I find the right area to load and unload, they are around 12' long, I just do not want to burn up a transmission by mistake. Thanks for any info.
  23. Looks like a Open Range trailer that he used, nice looking set up
  24. I think he is taking about the weight of the vehicle...5,700lbs
