ICPete Posted November 7, 2015 Report Share Posted November 7, 2015 Spent the last week of October in Kanab, UT, showing our two sons the national parks (Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon, and Zion; previous week with one son only at Arches and Canyonlands). We are now parked at the SKP Saguaro Co-op in Benson, AZ, for a six-month lease. There's a red 610 here and several MDTs and 450-550-type trucks. And more Hitchhikers than I've seen in any other park I've stayed at! Â My wife, my son, and I visited Arches on October 20th. Delicate Arch was officially closed due to recent flooding across the road and repaving of the parking lot. So we got there early and parked in a turn-out and hiked 2.7 miles each way to see it. We had it all to ourselves for about 20 minutes; unheard of! donf888 Posted November 7, 2015 Report Share Posted November 7, 2015 We finally made it back to Mesa from Alaska & Yukon, via Jasper, Missoula, St George & Vegas (slight detour for several shows, in order to hit Danny's Oasis truck wash -- removing last remnants of calcium treatment picked abit north of Destruction Bay!).  Will be here for a few weeks tending to RV recovery from 5 months, 9k miles of travel; plan to be in NorCalif for T'giving & Christmas. John Palmer is swapping the ARC-ME he sold me for a newer one with firmware compatable with the hybrid inverter. I am also taking truck down to Henry to swap out the hitch. Then we will stay 5 nights in Topsail SP before arriving at Rainbow Plantation for a month. Then up to Myrtle Beach to visit a few friends on Jan 2 then we will head down to FL to have John Palmer install solar around Jan 7 then we will be at the Tampa RV show starting Jan 13. Going to really learn salt water fishing. Just bought 2 inflatable SUP's, so will be in and on the water a lot.
