Jim Gell
We are in Mayo, FL at Suwannee River Rendezvous until Monday. John Palmer exchanged the inverter remote he sold me in January for a new one that is compatable with my hybrid inverter. I installed it this morning and my lithium battery seems to like the new settings I was able to program. Hope saying that doesn't jinx it! Friday I am taking truck down to Henry for a hitch repairs/upgrade. We will go to Topsail SP on Monday for 5 nights including Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone! lappir
Jack How do the steps attach on the Summit that is at the show? I'm not Jack but did see the steps. They appear to have brackets attached to the wall with pins. Didn't look all that close though and my photos don't really show them well except the door is in the slide out. That was a first for me. Jack Mayer
The steps you see on the new Summit are exactly the steps that Excel used. They work identically. Brian is now at New Horizons and he brought the steps with him - so to speak.... There are many floorplans for the Summit; not all have the steps in the slide. rickeieio
We are working our way towards RGV. With a little luck, we should arrive tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon. Today was one of those days that reinforced my decision to join the hdt ranks. We lost the trailer brakes, going down hill to a stop signal. Near 20k back there......... So, when it gets light, I'll start diagnosing. Never worked on electric/hydraulic disc before.... MaxBrake says trailer connection lost so it might be a bad connection in the plug or Jackalopee.
