HERO Maker
Just pulled into Rutlader Outpost RV Park in Kansas. It is about 25 miles south of Overland Park. We are a week early and made no reservations so it was not looking good for us as we drove their golf cart looking for a spot like we had last year, overlooking the fishing lake with the awning on the correct side of the trailer. (no late afternoon sun for us)  Went back in to discuss what our options would be (or go look at another park), then the phone rings and someone was unable to keep their commitment for space #10! No coincidence here! We know who looks over us and meets our needs sometimes even before we ask! We had space #8 last year for 3 weeks and it was great. So now we are parked like we were last year and we will be here for about 5 weeks and then head for the Rally.  By the way. The park here has a theatre where some great Nashville style Entertainment takes place on Saturday night. Great quiet place to stay.  See y'all at the Rally if not before. donf888
We're back to Toledo, continuing to work on Mom's affairs -- took our 3rd tour of Alzheimer's facility (with my sisters) she's now wait-listed, it seems a better alternative to SNF (staff is specifically trained on all-things related to Alz/dementia-specific residents). Picked up a goodly dose of head-cold from Goshen event, hope it clears up tomorrow for our face-to-face with Mom's doctor/nurse-practitioner (for her medical case review).  Will be here until time to leave for Hutchinson...  -Don Quote Don & Fannie  2005 Volvo 670, 12sp FreedomLine, "Black Dude", 3.36 axle, Szmyt Wonder-Bed Smart loader, ET hitch, Jackalopee (original-prototype), BLUE-DOT air-over-hydraulic brake system, 2007 New Horizons F35RLSSS-C (Mor/Ryde-IS, Kodiak disc brakes, 17.5 H tires), 2005 smart fortwo passion

Guest hjsdds
Kechup is parked at the heavy duty truck repair facility in Sodus, Michigan until Saturday when we should be good to go! Pipefitter and DW joined us for a social visit today, enjoyed dinner together tonight and will leave tomorrow! Art and Caroline Fennell also came up this morning for a smaller repair than hours and they left this evening for the Elkhart Campground! Fun day in the lounge with all 6 of us! The service guys got concerned when the 3rd big rig pulled into the yard and the comment was 'they are multiplying like rabbits'! We will go to The White Cloud Western Horizon Resort in Monticello, IN Sunday to Thursday then have some free time before heading to Hutch! See you there! dds
DJW
We are here at the American World Hotel and RV Resort in the Wisconsin Dells until the 30th of October. Was planning on leaving tomorrow but decided to stay until the end of October and enjoy the fall foliage. Went to the Circus World Museum yesterday in Baraboo, WI and really enjoyed it. Got some good info on a great meat market down in New Glarus, WI that makes a veal sausage and a cheese shop down in Juda, WI. So we will be making a road trip in the smart to stock up before heading for Nebraska in October. Â Dennis Quote USA Master Sergeant Ret.

Guest hjsdds
We have been free parking at Spacecraft in Concordia, MO since last Monday. Had a blow out and got some fiberglass repaired now waiting for the replacement awning that we lost in KS. to arrive hopefully on Monday- Then on to NH till January then FL. Enjoyed a visit from Don and Fannie France while we've been here and Mark-DIY guy was here all week and flew back to MA yesterday. Rick Jennings also stopped by for a visit! Don and Fannie went to Sodus MI for a truck repair at D&S HDT Repair shop where we were prior to the HDT Rally. Marks truck is in a repair shop in nearby Odessa, MO and he will fly back here to get it and his RV and deliver them to Retama. Jim Gehlen
Pulled into Las Vegas Saturday PM and will be here for a week b4 moving on to Parker. Had a wee problem coming thru the Virgin River Canyon in AZ on I-15 when the skylite on the Izusu shattered and blew off. Had to order a new one from Safelite glass and it will hopefully be in Thursday and installed. Valerie says the wind level in the little car is not too bad as long as it isn't raining. Â Parking in Las Vegas with no way to secure the interior of the car should be interesting and a challenge. As long as we are here in LV, planning a ride down to the Hoover dam to see the new bridge. Not too sure about riding the motorcycles over it. Long way down.
