2021 West Coast HDT Rally 
Monday June 14th, 2021 (arrival day)

Monday June 21nd, 2021 (departure day)

Ambassador RV Resort Caldwell Idaho.

Please call the office at Ambassador RV Resort (888) 877-8307 between 8:00 am & 5:00 p.m. MST to make your reservations.

When making your reservations, please mention that you are a member of the WCR HDT group.

Ambassador has weekly and monthly rates if you wish to stay at the park longer.

30 sites have been set aside for our group (more can be made available if we need them)

Sites will be released back to the campground in May so please make your reservations early.

After you make your reservations please email me at chadheiser@att.net so I can get you on the attendees list.

 

There will be a Rally Fee  of $20.00 per rig payable at the rally to help cover some expenses.

Rally T-shirts will also be available for $20.00 each.

 

When you email me, let me know how many people will be in your party, their names (for name tags) and whether or not you would like T-shirts (and what sizes).

 

The agenda is under development so if you have any ideas or suggestions please pass them along.

I will put out an official agenda once I have it all nailed down.  If any of you would like to volunteer for a presentation, I am happy to have you.

For those interested, some of us will be heading out to a local off road park for a few days after the rally to do some SXS riding.  The park allows boondocking on site.  I plan to leave Ambassador on the 22nd and head over.

We are going to Hemmingway Butte OHV Park.  We went there last year after the rally and stayed a few days.  It was a lot of fun.

I will look it up.  We spend t a week at Pine, ID and a week at Challis.  They were both awesome.

Interest is strong already.  I've got 10 confirmed reservations and three more just waiting for the park to open tomorrow to make theirs.  Looks like it is going to be another great rally.

I am working on the outings (along with the schedule).  When I have more information about them, I will let everyone know.

I made reservations yesterday for Us and Mike & Treasa Dillard. If the boarder opens this is our first stop on the way to Alaska.

Chad- We are gonna play this kinda loose.... I'll be back in the Dakotas/Montana area again this summer.  If everything goes decent well attend again.

So as of this evening, we have 29 confirmed reservations already.  Of those reservations, 16 are returning rally members and 13 are first time attendees.  This is great news for the rally.  The rally announcement only went out four days ago and we already have almost as many reservations as we had attendees last year (and last year was our biggest rally to date).  It looks like we may break that record this year based on activity so far. 

If your thinking about coming to the rally, call Ambassador and make your reservations.  THEN remember to contact me so I can get some additional information from you.  Thank you and I hope to see you at the rally.

She set aside 33 initially.  I haven’t counted the new reservations that came in today, but I’m pretty sure we have exceeded that now (I’ll be counting here in a few minutes).  I talked with Carol today and she (and the park) are excited to have us.  They have more sites available besides just the ones they set aside for us,  but they won’t last forever.

 

On Edit:

We are up to 35 reservations and 71 attendees (that I know of as of about 11:00 pm PST).  It is breaking down to just under 2/3 returning attendees (although some of them haven't been in a few years) and just over 1/3 first time attendees.  We have obviously exceeded our block of sites, but there are still more available (although I can't say for how long at this rate 😉).  I guess I am going to have to order the additional easy ups I talked about last year. 😁

Apparently word has gotten out about the WCR! Ambassador RV park is now full for the rally. If you want to come, you will have to call and get on their wait list in case someone cancels. I can't believe we filled the park this fast. This will definitely be our biggest rally to date!
