  1. Well, my 1TB Seagate external HD is my initial backup; Microsoft OneDrive is my backup to my backup. Everything is on both in case my computer pukes or the Seagate dies too. If my computer HD dies, I have a HP 1TB SSD standing by to recover everything. Now when I die all that dies too.
  2. Av8r, I'll add my 2 cents on sensors and long stems. I've never had any issue with the TST 507 flow-through sensors(bought mine in 2008) on my brass dually stems. Shoot, many people don't even balance tires with dual applications, but I have all 6 balanced.
  3. The simple answer is, yes it can tow that 5er. Can it tow that 5er safely, NO. To accurately and impartially determine what your 3/4T pickup will handle. Use this online towing calculator and input the numbers required. Then read this: https://fifthwheelst.com/2015-three-quarter-ton-truck-towing.html
  4. Where there is a will, there is a way, but not for us old folks.
  5. Meritor sells electric drive axles now. https://www.meritor.com/products/epowertrains/ This is for the travel trailer crowd, there is the electric assist Airstream.
  6. This online calculator will accurately and impartially match your tow vehicle and trailer. This removes all salesmens hype and chest-beating of other like vehicle owners. IMO, your tundra will be overloaded, but the calculator does not guess.
  7. I wonder if using Microsoft onedrive will also accomplish that? It would be the same procedure, and since my files are already there it would be convenient.
  8. Lest we forget our 58,479 comrades who didn't come home, and those who came home broken and locked up within themselves.
  9. The first of this month I ordered 3 Renogy 12V batteries through Amazon. At checkout it asked where i wanted them delivered, back door, basement door, garage; so I selected garage. The day UPS was to deliver them, I had the garage door open about 5'. I never even knew the truck had been here, I just looked out at the garage and saw them sitting just inside the door.
  10. Kirk I've had informed delivery for several years now, and seldom do they get it completely right for me. If I'm getting a package from TRICARE express-scripts, they never tell me. It just shows up in my mailbox. I do know it is coming though. Express Scripts emails me a couple days prior to delivery that it's on the way.
  11. The best chemical to use is a universal solvent = WATER, and enough to always keep all solids covered. Years ago I bought RV toilet stuff, but after joining this forum and becoming educated on the subject, i've saved a lot of money in the past 20 years.
  12. Amazon customer service; 1-888-2eightzero-fourthreethree1. I think this an off-shore call center by the speech of the reps. However everyone I've spoken with was very helpful and knowledgeable. Apparently they have great latitude solving customers problems. For example; 2 weeks ago I bought 3 Renogy batteries, the next day the price dropped $10. I called and asked about a refund, which was initially refused. She said they didn't price match. So then I said I'll return them (at Amazon expense) and buy others at the lower price. I was on hold a few moments, then she said I was credited with the difference in the form of Amazon gift cards to my account. IMO being polite yet persistent was key to a positive outcome.
  13. And just when I was getting used to going into a bank wearing a mask and a baseball cap.

  15. My reason for saying that was, he is trying to eliminate using any adapter. Tullecreeper, I'm presently looking at this gesnet: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pulsar-Products-GD400BN-4000W-Portable-super-quiet-Dual-Fuel-Parallel-Capability-CARB-Compliant-Inverter-Generator-ultra-lightweight-RV-Ready-4000-Wa/1183754793 It is actually a 3,000W continuous use model, that 4,000w is surge. It weighs less than 60lbs.
  16. I've always thought it very odd the DoD prefers Google chrome web browser to all others. Every time I sign-in to the Army MyPay website I get a message that I'm attempting to sign-in on an unsupported web browser and it may not work properly. That's BS, IMO, FireFox(latest edition) always performs great, and much more secure.
  17. I know of no RV with a 4-prong locking plug. Such a genset will require an adapter to an RV plug.
  18. FWIW, I ran B.F.GoodrichT/A commercial M&S tires on my Chevy dually from the time I bought it, the only tire issue was running over a road sign that fell from a state highway truck and later finding a ½" diameter bolt in a rear tire, that didn't go flat quickly BTW. Before making my decision of which brand to buy, I walked around town observing brands of tires on delivery trucks. UPS delivery trucks all had B.F.Goodrich tires. So I thought if the UPS accountants thought B.F.Goodrich was the best bang for their bucks, so should I. I would not spend the money for Michelin's to buy the name. I don't know what brand UPS uses today though; your choice your money.
  19. Thanks again Derek for providing this information.
  20. At 5 years old, I'd just have the tires inspected for external damage, inflate to the Federal tire placard on the door/or inside the vehicle. and put off buying new tires for another 2-3 years. The tires on my pickup are dated 2016 and passed inspection easily, but mine are nearly worn down to the wear indicators, so this summer I'll replace them.

  22. I'm sure happy I didn't switch to W11; especially after this news: https://www.pcmag.com/news/windows-12-in-2024-microsoft-reportedly-changes-os-release-schedule
  23. This online towing calculator will accurately match your F150(or any tow vehicle) to a travel trailer. It does not address lengths. You will note some blocks require actual weights instead of published figures. In addition to the formula Kirk stated;there is a second formula written in this blog: https://davidsrvtips.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-long.html
