An extended warranty is a service contract and should be looked at like insurance. Many advise to just put the premium amount in a savings account and make additional monthly deposits. Problem is that most people are not disciplined enough to make monthly deposits. Also, this may be fine for a trailer or fifth wheel but anything with a motor and transmission like a Class A, B or C that has a major mechanical breakdown will wipe out your savings in a hurry. When purchasing a extended warranty make sure it is an exclusionary policy, it includes everything unless listed as excluded. Inclusionary policies only cover what is listed as covered. As far as Goodsam and Coach Net I have no first hand knowledge. There are a lot of negative reviews regarding anything involving GS and a lot of good reviews regarding CN. There are also many good reviews regarding Wholesale Warranty. Do a lot of research before making your final decision.

Yes but the OP may be over 55. They did not state their age and while in Benson last winter I saw several families staying for a month or less in the rental pool.

Where in AZ? Have you tried any of the 4 Escapees camp grounds? Congress, Casa Grande, Benson or Yuma.

Escapees have several parks in AZ. Congress, just north of Phoenix, Casa Grande, just south of Phoenix. Benson and Yuma also have a camp ground but may be too far for you.

I had Sirius years ago paying $5 dollars a month X2 for 2 vehicles. I switched to Pandora for free. They do repeat the same songs often so after awhile I change to a different station. I will pick the name of an artist and get selections of many artists of the same type of music. I am now looking into Spotify as an alternative to Pandora but haven't used it yet.

Hot spots are using a cell service on a smart phone. Most computers use wifi to get on the internet and do not have a cellular connection. I may be wrong but I do not know of a computer that has cellula.

Rather than buying a truck and a trailer consider getting a Class B or C. Many people boondock in Bs and Cs and then you don't need two vehicles. You may even save dollars insuring and registering only one vehicle.

I volunteer in National Parks and most have very week cell signal or none at all in the camp grounds. Often you must park in the Visitor Center parking lot to even get any signal at all.

When parked are you living in it or is it in storage. If living in it you need a full timers policy 24/7/365. If in storage you can ask for storage coverage while it’s off the road.

Are you plugged into shore power at your destination? Is the A/C only not working on the generator? If so the circuit breaker on the genny itself may be tripped and no power is going from the genny to the RV.

My rule of thumb is, “if it has a motor and a transmission, I want an extended warranty.” If either the motor or transmission goes out and all you have is the amount of premium you would have paid and a few monthly deposits in an account you will not be able to cover the cost of repair. If you are purchasing only a trailer or 5th wheel, and you are good at fixing things maybe you could go without the purchase of an extended warranty. To each his own.

I am a full timer and use the Escapees SD address. I have purchased vehicles in ID, AZ and NE. The dealer gives me a paper temporary plate for the State of purchase that is attached to the vehicle. I then have 45 days to register and pay the sales tax in SD. I then can transfer to plate of the vehicle traded in to the new vehicle or SD mails me a new plate.

Your 12v lights run off the batteries. The shore power just goes into an inverter/converter to charge the batteries. Depending the make and model of your inverter/converter you may or may not be able to use your 12v system.

If you are being paid it is not a volunteer job it is a work camper job. As a paid employee you pretty much have to do whatever they tell you. I only volunteer in State Parks or National Parks. I don’t get paid but I tell them what I am willing to do and how many hours I am willing to volunteer. I have work camped before for pay and both times it was a disaster and I will never do it again.
