    • Congratulations on the truck and trailer. Didn’t make it to the rally again this year
    • Livingston, TX Flooding,,,,, We've been to the Escapees park numerous times but I don't recall if it would be on higher ground than the actual town. https://www.texastribune.org/2024/05/03/east-texas-flood-survivors-cleanup/
    • It's all coming together. Bought a DRV Fullhouse MX450 at MHS RV in Alvarado TX in February. Had to tow it home (hour East of Nashville) with my 2017 F350 SRW. Wasn't as bad as I thought, just took it real easy, set the cruise at 60-62 and drove very defensively. Managed to make it to the East coast rally in Crossville last week. After a 3-4 month search found the truck for conversion, 2022 Volvo VNL860. Nice clean truck, 412k miles, 8800 hours, 455hp w/ turbo compounding, iShift, 2.47 gears, Lopro tires, Disc brakes all around, twin 150 fuel tanks, white. Should get good fuel economy. The only 2 things we didn't get that we wanted were, either gray or silver and a locking rear axle. Going to see about doing decals to make it look like it belongs with the 5'er. Trying to research either an axle swap or retro fitting the existing with a locker. Any of y'all done a retrofit? Have the paperwork, plate, title, private RV stickers, etc. all in order so we can fly down next week and pick it up from Bruckners in Fort Worth. Want to do a Jeep/Bronco bed (see pic). Let the conversion begin!
    • I gotta say it was the easiest thing ever, like registering a car or motorcycle! We live in Trousdale county, smallest county in Tennessee. I had previously went and spoke with Rita the county clerk about what it takes to register as a MH. She said, well I've never done that. She called Nashville and they told her that we had to fill out this and that form, so she printed them for me. We looked them over together and she kept saying "well that doesn't apply" till we got to the last form. At that point she says "just bring the title in an I will take care of it", so I did. Took a total of 17 minutes from the time i entered the door till I left AND on special forms or affidavit to sign. Walked out with the plate and pick the title up next week before we go pick the truck up in Fort Worth.
    • The one I founding your price range is already sold but this one is just a bit more money: https://sportsmobile.com/van-inventory/14910-2/. Sportsmobile has been doing high quality conversions since the days of The Beach Boys. Linda Sand
