SuiteSuccess
Spent the afternoon putting Eternabond on the roof of the trailer. Caulked all the seams yesterday. Hate to admit it but this getting old and arthritic just sucks! I was like a beached whale trying to climb the trailer ladder and wallowing around to get on top, then repeating the scene when I finished. Good thing Greenpeace wasn’t around or they would be looking for the nearest ocean to get me back into. Immediately went into hot tub of water when I got home but sore in places I didn’t know could be sore. Sigh 😔. 2006 Volvo 780 "Hoss" Volvo D12, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift Bed Build by "JW Morgan's Custom Welding" 2017 DRV 39DBRS3 2013 Smart Passion Coupe "Itty Bitty" "Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. rickeieio
Could be worse Carl. At least you're still doing it. I stay off our roof, not because I can't get up there, but I'm afraid I'll violate the "bridge formula". Referring to the spread between axles, or overall length, for a given weight, to make sure the load isn't concentrated on to short a span on the bridge. In my case, my feet are too small for the gross load. In other words, I'm short for my weight.😉 KW T-680, POPEMOBILE Newmar X-Aire, VATICAN Lots of old motorcycles, Moto Guzzi Griso and Spyder F3 currently in the front row Young enough to play in the dirt as a retired farmer. contact me at rickeieio@yahoo.com
SuiteSuccess
Rick, I was doing this under the covering where we store our trailer so I wasn’t walking the roof but crawling around. Every year at this time I need to do this job every year. After winter is over it is now time to get the gravel out of the yard. My lane is about 800' feet long. The best way is to rack it out. The gravel gets into the yard because of snow plowing. Next month we can swap stories of pain. lol.
