  1. Ditto! When Fan-Tastic Fan (800-521-0298) was by itself the lids had a lifetime warranty. I called them for a replacement 5 years ago, the lady I spoke with warranted my cracked lid. The shipping charge from Fed-Ex was $16 though. Atwood bought Fan-Tastic Fan, then Dometic bought Atwood, I have no idea if the lid lifetime warranty is still in effect.
  2. Good catch! I was focused on the difference between air springs and air bags and forgot Ford still uses a solid axle and leaf springs. Firestone makes air bags for that arrangement too: https://www.sdtrucksprings.com/suspension-air-bags/firestone-air-bag-kits/ford/motorhome-class-a
  3. Dometic now owns Fan-Tastic Fan, The new replacement motors are reported as quite noisy compared to the original. Glenn, 4.34" is not too high to cover with panels IMO, could exhausted hot air affect them?
  4. Kirk that and this one go hand in hand: https://www.bing.com/covid/local/unitedstates?form=msntrk
  5. I never gave it a thought either. DW used to have a Lincoln, their system is even more complex than her Jeep GC. Now I'm thinking about it, her Jeep owner manual mentions Uconnect keeps track of many functions. That's how the GPS system updates-via satellite.
  6. For GM vehicles, just pull the ONSTAR fuse. Uconnect is an entirely different system. It controls much more than contacting the mfgr and making calls.
  7. While I was searching for that non-add blocker website, I noted every burn victim was not on a designated walkway. I agree with richfaa.
  8. Linux has software that mimics windows 10, I installed it on an old laptop that was not capable of running W10. It runs great. I gave that laptop to a grandson last fall, he's never complained about it not being windows OS.
  9. There are High-end gas powered motorhomes. Tiffin is just one, rear liquid springs are offered as optional, and air bags may be installed in F53 front coil springs to improve ride quality.
  10. Good catch, thanks. My old memory banks are dusty these days. Chad Heiser thanks for clearing up the muddy water I created, you stated what I attempted to say.
  11. OK, I learned something today, What I posted was the limit of my knowledge about Express-Scripts; Question asked and answered.
  12. Clarification please; Express-Scripts is the pharmacy end of TRICARE for retired military and DOD employees. It is managed by Humana currently. Is this to what you are referring?
  13. I apologize, I didn't mean to be insulting, sorry.
  14. oldjohnt, my Norcold 1200 two 120VAC resistance heaters draw 380W each. Discounting the efficiency rate of his Xantrex the draw on the battery bank is approx. 10X that. Am I right?
  15. Yup, my bad; I had too many tabs open at the same time. Sorry folks. Thanks for the correct link Darrylandrita.
  16. No, no violation of any kind. Just like putting wider/different tires on your hotrod back in the day.
  17. He said fronts. Unless he has a GMC MH it doesn't matter.
  18. Whatever the 120VAC amp-draw of the refrigerator is, the inverter will draw 10X that much DC amperage from the battery bank.
  19. I had to search for a website that doesn't lock out ad-blockers. It's more serious than the headlines in the Billings paper. The woman died to males are in critical condition.https://www.bozemandailychronicle.com/woman-dead-two-burned-in-park-hot-spring/article_1c312198-38db-59be-9597-656830c87995.html
  20. Your links in your first post open the Airstream forum, not pictures or ARP/Fridge defend instructions. I don't remember installing a breaker in the hot wire. The ARP instructions show wiring their unit in series with the "recall box", IMO this is to avoid lawsuits with Norcold, since the recall box is now a redundant system. I consider the money I spent on the Fridge Defend/ARP unit well spent. Have you watched the installation video yet?
  21. Bite the bullet, buy a new air conditioner gasket, remove the AC from the opening, make required repairs, use new gasket and replace AC unit. NEVER reuse the old gasket.
  22. A cousin tore a few inches of his awning, we did like you said. That was almost 10 years ago and the awning tape is still holding strong.
  23. Which begs the question, to whom does the U.S.A. owe that $15 trillion debt?
  24. For me it wasn't the actual water, but rather the 4" of frozen snow/ice that I had to wait to melt enough to shove it off the slide roof. But that was back in the early 90's. Water may be directed away from the seal, just tilt the RV a few degrees the direction you want water to flow. Since DW is unable to travel much, I think you guys talked me into buying the sun-shield material too, if the OEM Carefree material goes South without me.
  25. If you want an RV park away from hustle and horns, look at Pumpkin Patch RV park, it's W of Bangor, approx. 60 miles from the CA/USA border, yet the coast is a easy a day-trip.
