HDT snow load

Hope everybody has had a happy holiday season. Question I have because our 08 vnl 780 has got a fiberglass hood on it. How much snow piled up on it can it handle before the snow load damages the hood. We have cleared it off twice this year and expecting another 4 in of snow. Last time we shoveled the bed off it had 18 in on it. Anyway just wondering how much weight the hood can handle before any damage occurs.

What about all the trucks parked on dealer lots or in storage?  Is the snow ever removed?

The front row ones get cleaned to catch buyers' eye. Back fence? They'll get done, eventually.

I have been wrong before, I'll probably be wrong again.

Only time I'd worry about it was if I was heading out for a drive. I'd want as much off of it as possible so it didn't cause a road hazard. If you are not driving till it gets warm again. It will melt.
