  1. I'm having to sign back in about half of the time now, never did before a couple of weeks ago. As far as who to blame, I imagine it's an issue of Invision's software and it's compatibility with certain browsers. Considering how many browsers are in use out there, I'm surprised any website can operate flawlessly on all browsers. To me, it's not a big deal, I just sign back in when it requests me to.
  2. Concierge service for RV's? That's a new one on me, I'll be curious to see the responses.
  3. My bad. I thought everyone in Montana knew the Duttons.
  4. Could you do me a big favor please? Would you check on the condition of John, Beth, and Casey? I haven't been able to find out a thing since I saw them go down and I am unable to travel to Montana at the present time. Thanks.
  5. Used to be, if you flagged an ad, Craigslist would investigate it and within a few days it would go away. Now, when you flag it, it just isn't available to you anymore but is still posted. Next time you see one, save it as a bookmark. Then, flag it. It will no longer be available to you when you view the category, but it's still on the site and you can see it by going to the bookmark. When you view it through the bookmark, you can unhide it. In other words, flagging an ad just hides it from your view.
  6. All gases expand at the same rate when subjected to heat. Nitrogen does also. Here's a website with some helpful information. https://powertank.com/pages/nitrogen-truths-and-myths Excerpt: Nitrogen doesn't expand with heat like air because it is drier. Your tire pressure stays more constant through tire temperature changes. Here's a claim that we've heard more times than we'd like to admit. Bottled nitrogen is dry, drier than typical air, and it is said that a drier gas will exhibit less pressure change to temperature changes. This would mean that as my nitrogen filled tires heat up, the pressure will not go up as much as if they were filled with air. The dryness of CO2 is also put into question since it is a "liquid" gas under pressure. CO2 vapor is very dry. Don't forget that nitrogen is also a liquid gas under certain pressure and temperature. The truth is, the differences in thermal expansion values (TEV) between nitrogen, air, and CO2 at automotive tire pressures is virtually undetectable to a driver. In our own tests we compared the pressure changes of nitrogen, air, and CO2 through a wide temperature range and found that they all expanded (increased in pressure) at virtually the same rate (see Gas Test below).
  7. The scammers have just about ruined Craigslist. If you look at RV's or just plain Trailers section, you'll see they're selling the same 2008 Casita trailer all over the USA. They even use the same photos. Lot's of cell phone scams. There used to be a way to report them. I guess they work, or they wouldn't keep doing it. Lot's of legitimate sellers have moved over to Facebook Market Place. I don't do Facebook though.
  8. Linda, I would say that all i5's or i7's are not alike. Many i5's will outperform many i7's. Intel makes it really confusing and difficult to sort out with their nomenclature system. Here's a website which will help you compare what you're buying https://www.cpubenchmark.net/ Just go to the upper right corner and do a search by entering the complete processor name such as the first one you listed is i5-1035G1. The search will bring up some links. Usually the first or second link will take you to a benchmark to use for comparison. That particular processor has a benchmark of 7995. That's only a little faster than my 10 year old i7. There are much faster and better performing i5 processors on the market. However, if all you're doing is browsing the internet, it would be more than adequate. i hope that helps.
  9. If the car charger was drawing the voltage down on one leg at the pedestal, it'll do the same thing in the coach, since the coach is using the pedestal for power. He'd be just moving the problem from the pedestal to the coach's breaker box. Adding a 30 amp outlet on the coach is not going to magically produce more current. The only way this could help is if he installed the new 30 amp outlet on the side of the coach breaker box with the lightest load, or refrained from using things on that leg while charging the car. However, I think most breaker boxes will be fairly well balanced.
  10. I could, but then I'd miss texts that I do want to get and read. I intentionally set it to give me a missed text reminder.
  11. Looks to me like the sprayer that comes with some toilets for cleanup. Just buy a new sprayer with hose and attach it to the toilet where the hose clamp is. Here's what the one for Thedford looks like https://www.amazon.com/Thetford-TH24884-24884-Hand-Spray/dp/B002UC4X5O/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=rv+toilet+sprayer&qid=1598203227&sr=8-8
  12. I can understand that. I don't answer calls though if the number is not in my phone book. Plus, when i get a text, I get a reminder every few minutes afterward to let me know I got a text, so I have to do something with it. Truth is, I don't like either unsolicited calls or texts or emails, or snail mail, or front porch visits, or flyovers with leaflets.
  13. You're right and I text often instead of calling friends and family. What I don't do is text people I don't know and ask them who they're voting for or try to convince them to vote for my preferred candidate. I consider that rude and intrusive. I totally support and encourage people to exercise their freedom to discuss politics and take polls. I think they should set up a table under a shade tree on public property or in a mall or whatever. They can put up a sign informing those who are interested to join and participate. Or, if they just want to campaign, they can get a soapbox and stand on the street corner and make a speech or two.
  14. No grief, I was just a bit confused. I guess I could have been more clear about the word "text". Sending "texts" is how the younger world communicates now. ☺️ I consider it "spam" when it is unsolicited and wakes me from my nap.
  15. Not sure why you quoted me. I'm not getting SPAM in my inbox, my email server filters those out just fine. Telemarketers go to voicemail on my phone. I didn't mention prescriptions or Vets, don't know how that got in there. I do get texts from political organizations touting their candidate or asking who I'm voting for, but I already stated how I handle them.
  16. Why would the fresh water line to a toilet have one of those on it?
  17. Short answer is No. I haven't gotten any political mail at all, but I've received a boatload of spam text from various political factions. I usually make it clear that there's no way I would vote for anyone represented by such rude and selfish intrusions.
  18. That photo is an aftermarket pan. I just used it as a convenient one to show the shape. The original equipment one is smooth on bottom with no drain plug.
  19. Show me a picture of the underside of the transmission pan and I can. Here's what the shape is. No other tranny uses this shape of a pan. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Black-Steel-GM-TH-400-Transmission-Pan-1-7-8-Inch-Deep,231379.html?sku=9101731&utm_medium=CSEGoogle&utm_source=CSE&utm_campaign=CSEGOOGLE&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIm8S52Z6n6wIVRtyGCh3B8g0hEAQYASABEgJ4lvD_BwE
