  1. I'm happy you solved the problem, not so happy it's going to cost you. Thanks for the update.
  2. Back to your Tundra's towing capacity. You stated 10,000 lbs., that is the maximum the loaded trailer can weigh-assuming you do not have the truck loaded to capacity. All new trailers sold advertise the unloaded weight, which may not include aftermarket options the selling dealer installs. That is meaningless to you unless you plan to tow the trailer empty of food-stuffs, clothes, etc. This travel trailer weight calculator may prove useful.
  3. Unless it is an organized, standardized test, like an ISO test, it is purely opinion. I investigate the best I can at the time, often asking advice from others, then make my purchase based on my opinion.
  4. You misunderstand, I want to contact the escapees Xscaper member. Apparently they bought the property.
  5. JesseeA an Xscaper posted on the Travel Log forum about The American Girl mine area West of Yuma. I would like to find out more about this area but there is no way I've found to contact him. He has a utube channel listed as his website, but when used it says there is no such channel. Does anyone know how to contact him or send a msg?
  6. It is is writing, stated in the warranty. Just like some mfgrs. state "not approved for full-time use, warranty is not valid when used full-time". I was asking about the regulations that is the topic of this thread vs the warranty contents..
  7. I wonder how that applies the the RV mfgrs. stating in their warranty "approved for full-time use"??
  8. This article about lowering a Ford F250 may be an interesting read.
  9. I've never served on a jury, been summoned for a pool only once. I was called to testify before a grand jury once in a criminal case, that was interesting to say the least.
  10. Kirk, your exhibition of honesty and duty by calling the Polk county clerk and explaining you were back is admirable; of course that it to be expected of a veteran. Thank you for sharing your experience.
  11. Pete, I've ran out of straws, I hope you find the cause.
  12. I agree, I cannot remember the last time I heard of a pupil being held back a grade for lack of accomplishment. As to backing, all one has to do is compare USA(#20) and Japan(#2) education system to see how cultural and economic differences affect student performance.
  13. The North entrance is/was more rustic, and much slower-paced than East, West, or South. The entrance road is quite curvy to the loop road due to the rise in elevation. Your plans seem like a circuitous route around Yellowstone, It sounds very scenic and enjoyable. While at Mt. Rushmore, spend a day driving(not RV friendly route) through the park to the dinosaur dig exhibit at Hot Springs SD. I was surprised to see working cowboys walking into the boot/leather shop in town. One man pulled off his well-worn boots that looked like the spurs hadn't been removed since the boots were new.
  14. This is compilation of ebay diesel cab heaters for sale. Sure beats $700 for one.
  15. Read the details at: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f89/ft-myers-476719.html
  16. The last time I spoke with RM tech support I was told "no more lifetime map updates for the 7730". Today I attempted to attach my 7730 to my computer and RM Dock. Nothing, the 7730 does not say "connected" on the screen, the computer does not make any USB connection sound. RM Dock will not install unless a RM GPS unit is first connected. Anyone know what's happening? The USB cable is good, as it charges the GPS battery from the 120VAC adapter. The computer port is good, as I switched my printer to that port, printer functions normally. i phoned tech support, I was told to do a hard reset, it worked the GPS is functioning, still no map updates though. It's been 4 years since the last full map download.
  17. I have asthma/COPD, which often causes me to cough, repeatedly if I have an attack. Now when I'm in public and begin coughing, I cover my mouth always, but now I get a lot of stares.I wear a mask when outside working and It restricts my breathing even more, which in turn causes more coughing, What is the solution to restricted airways and being in public? Asthma specialist says he will not put me on O2. BTW, Corona Extra is good for one, or two, or more.
  18. Good catch! Assuming this van is gas-powered, the diesel fuel-powered Webasto and other brands are out of the equation. What would work is something similar to the old VW bug gas heater for the interior.
  19. Welcome JC! Every reply is great information. Now we await your return with results from the advice and suggestions.
  20. This offers a wide assortment of brands/models This is a compilation of ebay links.
