We have finally found the hot weather...we are in Casper, WY for the night,

You are right about the heat. We passed through Sturgis yesterday on our way down to Nebraska and then gave Sturgis the slip and came back up through the Black Hills to Spearfish today. On our way through Hot Springs the thermometer hit 39C which by my rough math is something like 107F. We were cold from about the middle of February on so a little heat feels pretty good.

HELL !!!

Been there and done that today.

A little town in MI called Hell was talked about last night at our "social" gathering with Walt and Donna (class of 09) and some locals from Gregory MI. Naturally I had to go there, just so I could say I've been there. It was a bouncey road leading into the town, the store and icecream joint was about all that was there, so we got a few pics and rolled on.

Now we are headed towards the U P . not sure how long we will take getting up there, or how long we will stay up there.

It was fun visiting with friends, some of us drank a few tooooooooo many, but............ we all were able to roll out of there this AM.

Hi Joe!

John and Mary Nan Wehrung (Country Coach) and Mike and Kristy Barbusca (Windsor), Butch and Teresa Rankin (5er) were all there.....I'm still thinking! Mary Nan made cheese enchiladas for us, remember? And what about the newly wed folks, Wade and LeeAnn Magel?

Were Charles and Nancy Deustchman there? Pam and Tony Jones were in Q, I think...I KNOW they were in Casa Grande with us as "The Nurse", and Jeanne and ________Donati (or some spelling close to that) were in Q also, and were in Gillette with us too. Also, Carey McGleish and the younger couple, whom I think were Mark and Bobbie Johnson??

You can always go back and visit the Class of 2007 blogsite to review some of the photos there, and at events following to refresh your memory!!! Those sure were fun times!!!

Let's do it again! :)

Are you trying to find just the folks who were in Q with us, or all those who started out in Class of 2007, as in Boot Camp at Goshen, 2007?

I can think of several that were in Goshen for Boot Camp for the first Class of 2007 Potluck, that did not make it to Q. And also folks that joined us at later events (Casa Grande, Gillette Escapade, etc)? Gene and Marrianne Sword, Rae and Ernie Rice, Deb and Gary Pearce, John and Lora Newby, to name a few.

When you finish this one, you can do all the "adoptees"! It has sure been a lot of fun!! :)

There is also another couple, they arrived a day or so late, had a brand new Excel and I think a Dodge Truck. At least one of them was a mental health therapist and they parked near the fire ring on the side toward the entrance and exit road. I think that their name was Bruce & Jenna Broad (spelling may be incorrect)

There was also the couple who were not parked near us but across the road...his name was also Bruce.

Thanks, I will re-check my counting and add as needed.

Molly, I am just trying to find out where everyone is, the ones at Q for the graduation, and the ones that didn't make it, also the ones that keep up on the Escapees Forum.

We made it across the big bridge into the U P of MI today. Parked at a casino, they even have 10 sites with 15 amp electric here, and don't charge a fee. They also reimbursed us $7 of the $12.50 toll to cross the bridge, (needed 30 points of play), and gave us $10 each worth of tokens for signing up on their players club. Marcia turned their $10 into about $40, and I walked out ahead, so it is all good here in the U P.

Hi all you Norte Americanos. Faith and Begorrah.

I'm back in the US, my house in perfect shape under the great supervision of Greg and Jean while I was in Ireland. Ireland was cool, damp, and green, while Wisconsin is hot, damp, and green. Ireland has no bugs.

I'm heading out tomorrow for the UP; I suspect I'll run into Joe and Marcia soon. Especially if I forget to drive on the right which is a little odd for me right now....

Our plans as always are firmly written in jello (raspberry flavoured). Right now we are thinking about spending the winter on Vancouver Island but that could change tomorrow, and the day after that it could change again. Currently I'm in southern Saskatchewan doing some farmland inspections for an investment company and Marilyn is visiting her sister from Tokyo who happens to be in Kingston, ON right now. Once she gets back we'll do a Saskatchewan tour again and then head out to the PNW. After that ---- who knows?

Von and Christina Starkey. We are still on the road. Linda and Ron sorry we missed you on our pass thru PA on the way to NJ. We are currently near Wheeling WV heading into Ohio for a couple of family reunions next week.

Then back to SC for service on the RV. We will once again winter in Florida in Sanibel until April 2011.

Joe, If you are at the casino right across from the bridge to Canada and on a Verizon air card, check your fees...When we were there we connected to the Canadian towers and got a huge bill... Verizon did take it off when I called but I didn't even know we were connected to Canadian towers.

Pamela and I were at Q for graduation and at the GJ Rally in Casa Grande. We were the ones in the middle of the lake. Pamela and I will be at Q 2011.

We have been in the Black Hills for several months and now are at Keyhole State Park in WY for another two or three days. Keyhole is near Sundance, WY. Like that helps.

Many thanks to Greg and Jean for letting me park my house on their field the last couple of weeks. The amenities list wasn't very long, services non-existent, but the company and the price were good. For anyone considering visiting there, bring some Deet with you; Wisconsin has a splendid array of insect species.

Joe, I'm at Two Rivers, WI (near Green Bay) and slowly heading to the UP. Are you at the casino in St Ignace or at Tiki? I second Greg's suggestion to visit the Island: take the tour on the horse-drawn bus system. One of my favorite places.

Thanks again to Greg and Jean, it worked out very well.

And this is coming from someone who dislikes crowds and rules?

We are in St Ignace until Sunday and then we will move towards Sault Ste Marie, Maybe I spelld that right.

Janice and Dean stopped by today and we all went to the casino for dinner and a little fun. Somehow I have more $$ now than when I walked in. :D

Marty no problem at all...... the field is always there....but my Mother wants to know why you moved!?!??! :D

Joe be careful up in the Soo.....there is a casino there as well and sooner or later they get their money back. The Soo Locks tour is good.... also if you cross into Canada there is a day trip Railroad ride that takes you up into the Agawa Canyon.

Cheers
