GlennWest
I will be mounting boxes, cameras. Cost on this with paint is $7648.63. That includes singling, relocating batteries, weed burner, 4 wheel stops, mounting hitch. I will wire jackolee, brake controller. They are very reasonable. They offered to do sides also but I wanted to install boxes myself and may not do sides. Depends on how all looks with boxes. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

SuiteSuccess
Glen, Before you mount your drom, wire off those two bed lights on the back so you can mount bed lights later if you choose. It's a real pain when your drom is two inches from the cab. CDR
Glen, You say you singled mid? Also, why did you move the batteries would the drom be over them? With my build I have an access plate in my deck, just lift it out and there's the battery box. Just curious. GlennWest
Discussed this battery issue with builder. We decided best to relocate. He had a Mac battery box for side rail mount that fitted with no drilling. It is a 3 battery box. Access is removing lower furling. I don't think it should be problem. I am a welder so expanding box not a big deal if the need arrives. My drom box would have been an issue with the floor door also. Hope all works right. I have about depleted my reserve money. Need a few checks under belt before any more trimmings, drom, underbed boxes. Soon as I can get it, I will so I can wire for rv. I maintained the original wheel base. That was middle. I would have to dig up some notes to tell you exact wheel base. At 60 my brain not as keen as it once was. lol 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

Jack Mayer
That looks great, Glenn. And a good price, too. The weld is something I can aspire to. My problem is seeing the darn thing while welding. GlennWest
Jack I'm 60. Yes glasses or no welding. If in a shop, cheaters work well. Welding in plants as I do, I carry 3 different strengths of reading glasses. This allows for a full range of sight. I weld as good as ever. Just have to see it. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

GlennWest
Since I noted in here about welding lenses I have gotten several PM asking about them. So here it is. Phillips Safety has their gold lens and it is crystal clear. Only $20.00 also. I use a #9.
