steved44
So sorry to hear that Jeri. We knew it was just a matter of time, but still couldn't force ourselves to believe it. He's sure going to be missed. I don't know how many nights he and I were the last two around the campfire and told war stories until we were both mostly asleep. He would always be the one to post something on the forum just to get the rest of us to wake up and start posting again. He was an inspiration to all of us to keep going, keep camping and keep living. Now he's got a whole new campground to set up in. They'd better have full hook ups in heaven, or they're going to be sorry. Rest in peace IYQ! hdrider
We didn't know Lee as well as most but none the less he was often talked about between us and always will be I'm sure. I will never forget the night him & Diane were leaning back in chairs around a campfire in Q with Lee pointing out constellations with his lazer pointer. He gave Diane a book that night that she has refered to many times and now it will hold an even stronger meaning. RIP Lee. Roger & Lynn
We can only echo what the rest of you have put so well. bobsallyh
Not a member of the classes nor did I know Lee. But his posts were just outstanding as many times he would have me in stitches just reading them. I do know one thing, he loved life and did it his way RIP Lee. sandsys
Thanks, Jeri, for keeping us all in touch with Lee's family. I wonder how long it will take Lee to start a new square dance group in his version of heaven? He was a man who truly lived his moniker. I'm not sure how many of you realized IYQ read quickly says, "I like you." And he did. Like everyone. He made all our lives better. I started to say rest in peace then decided I'd rather say, "Dance on, Lee." cactus
I only knew Lee from this forum, but what a great personality. His adventures almost made me feel like I was there. Having spent some time in the Las Cruses and Alamogordo areas it was easy to follow his travels. Â After my morning perusal of the forums, the first thing my wife would ask, "whats new with Lee". Thanks to all of you who shared Lee with us unknowns. E.P.

Wanderin
Well, well, well ... best laid plans. We discovered at our birthday dinner with the family that our son is scheduling surgery in October. We'll get the date this Friday. Thus, we're thinking all these great plans we made for the first of October might go up in smoke. I'm not sure how good that would be if we took off no matter how minor the surgery. palamine
Well, we are getting our first boondocking in way sooner than we expected. Our friends Terry and Edi, former SKPs that some of you have met, have a very pretty 2 acres in Fawcett, Alberta, quite a bit north of Edmonton. There are no services. We are okay with that. Not much sun for the solar but no rules about generators. The grass where we parked is very soft and it will take some serious planking to get out. But we are happy to be sitting for a few days. We may go to West Edmonton Mall tomorrow, after all, we are here. Don't forget to wear your walking shoes. You can go to the waterpark or even the ice rink inside of the mall.
