wRather than the water supply itself something could have nested in the faucet itself if it was not used even for an hour or two before you used it or may have even been in the new hose. I always run at least a few gallons from the faucet throught the hose before completing the hook up. I often spray the faucet with bleach or alcohol including up into the faucet and let it set for at least few minutes before flushing it then completeing the hook up. Thes winter I stopped at a park that had just been vacated. When I opened my grey tank I got a back surge out of a sewer vent at the site. When the owner tried to clear it he was going to hook up a hose and try to use water pressure to break it loose. He put the wrong end down the dump first then reversed it. I saw all this and was tempted to leave but he used alcahol as a disinfectant. After he left I used straight bleach to do it again twice. I guess it was alright as I never had any issues but it sure made me nervous. There is no telling what goes on that we don't know about so it pays to be careful.

I was about to try it but think I will wait another year thanks to towboater sharing his experience. doncoyote too

you can use the apple vinegar but it costs a little more and will only do an equal job so why woud you. I have use it on somethings sparingly in a pinch.

Or oil/fuel tank for locomotive. We really need a better picture to make better guess'

rIt has been so long since I stayed there I may be wrong but the CAL park up at Coursgold when I stayed there was full and I stayed in the "dry camp" area and it was on an asphalt parking lot but it was the nicest asphalt I ever stayed on I think. It was convienent to the club house with the showers and laundry and the people there were great. I stayed at Yuma once for several days and got one of the few spots available. In both cases it was kind of at the end of the season when the majority of site holders tend to be there. I have never been to JoJoba but I seem to recall at one time they had a one week limit. I don't know if that is still true.

you can definitly do it by mail. I have done it multiple times but I had a issue using FEDEX once and I would us the US Post Office if I had it to do again. This is not a blanket indictement against FEDEX just a situational happening.

I agree that is what the postal regulations say but I have had more than one instance where some business or entity has made my address APT 0000. I have had some that could not seem to put the Pmb #, Apt # or anything like that. One was a major insurance company that finally after years got it right. I know that if the PO decides to enforce the regulation it could cause issues but I think unless it is massive or done by our mail service they will simply ingore it.

I am just guessing but you may have to do it even if you turn around and come back after you do the paperwork. Can't wait for a definitive answer on this.

I got a bogus one from a toll road in Tx on the same day I was buying gas in Bartlett Tn. They had a picture and upon checking it, obviously it was wrong. It seems they have a problem due to temprory plates like from a dealer or paper temps before you receive your permanant plates.

This surely would be maddening with the lack of information. There may be information or answers later. IE: Some years ago I openned my seasonal mail box and inside was check for a significant amount that was my money being refunded due to a saving bank being closed that I was totally unaware of. It was insured under FDIC. But I recieved no notice until I recieved the check and it was included in the envelope with the check. It was a little un-nerving.

Nice Pic. Once on the way back to Dallas from Ft Hood I saw a C-5 doing an aproach to I think John Conally airport at waco. I was on I35 going N. I know it was an optical illusion but I swear it look like it was just hovering in the air from the angle I was watching. I even pulled off a ramp and stopped to watch it coming almost directly at my location. It was not the first time I have seen one but it was spectacular to watch.

I sure won't argue against that. I tend to believe there is an element out there that can mess up an anvil with a rubber hammer and they are very dilegent about it. For Jimk, Trust me plenty of us are all too aware of damage being done and will do our little bit to stop it but if we think about it too much it could drive us crazy. I see it constantly on my volunteer work. Realistically there is only so much we can do about it with the resources we have. On the good news side there are a heck of a lot of volunteers giving hours and hours and spending their own money at times to keep things up, again the best they can.

I heartily agree with it being lame, Glen. But at least they have bailed me out twice in 20 yrs. Even if I am aggravated I have definitly had my monies worth.

In an earlier era leaving your name, date you stopped at a spot, etc. was not looked on the way it is today. In fact we preserve and study things like this today. Back then we did not know any better now we do. Perhaps we need to have some way now for people to do this without damaging critical spots. This is something that aggravates me about CoachNet also. I just renewed and they say print out your ID card. Well I have no way of doing that. Last year I contacted them explaining that and they said they would send me one but I never got it. I still have the orignal and I write down the renewal info and dates and tape it to the old card. It works but I don't really like it. Heck, I would pay them an extra dollar to send me a new one each time but that is not likely to happen. I have used them several times and while it did not always go as smoothly as advertized the ultimate outcome was good and I am happy with their service. Sometimes the little things get ignored by business at that is irritating. (climbing off the box now)

While there are exceptions to the rule in general to qualify for WC something negtive had to happen to you and I would guess that is not the way the majority of people want to get money. I didn't get WC but had serious life changes including inability to continue my employment. I would rather have the good health.

The plate thing is something I hope they investigate as part of this and report it is true or not. In the news I have read so far I only see that stated from one source. If that is true the investigation should widen to see where else he may have done damage and if found hold him responsible for that too.

This does seem likely but at present I can only guess even if it is an educated guess. Even if he is still a weasel (sorry weasels) he would have be completely an idiot not to realize he screwed up big time.

I agree I would like more factual information. I have no trouble pulling the trap on a guilty person but I absolutely want to make sure it is the right person since you can't take it back once the neck snaps.

Absolutly the consequences are imporatant and at least as of now we don't know what they will be. Again without giving him a pass we can only wait, watch, and perhaps advocate for serious visible consequences. I still feel his statement is better than many I have seen and if he carries through it is some type of progress. He opened up a way to message him which is pretty risky. He is going to get all kinds of comments and even likly death threats. Without know him personally I won't have an idea of his sincerity on his mea culpa. I can only judge based on his actions and comments going forward.
