  1. Wasn't one of the issues with the FS composting toilets is they were too labor intensive for staffing levels? Plus variables like some not getting used enough and others too much for the way they operated.
  2. I don't have near the experience Chad does but I put my panels on a few days after 9/11/2001 into the plywood then sealed with the self leveling caulk appropriate for my trailer (97Sunnybrook TT) and never had an issue. I believe my plywood substructure is 5/8 plywood. No problems with the mount yet. I wish everything else held up that well including my body and brain.
  3. you know this is a trick questionπŸ™ƒ
  4. Has anyone mentioned that gfi likely has an outside outlet on it. On recommendation of an electrician friend I just helped a neighbor that had a gfi issue by killing all power to the trailer then hitting the reset. When we turned the power back on it reset at that point.
  5. I will let someone better at explaining tell you what to do but the answer is almost unequivically yes. Most likely will involve a good bit of water and bleach or another chemical and several fillings and drainings at a minimum. How soon you get a definitive answer will depend on how soon some of the others read your post.
  6. I have been in 2 situations where i could not get service to call my tow company. So be prepared to deal with emergencies the best you can just in case. Also I would not hesitate to call my service but would not ride a good horse to death as they say since I volunteered with someone once that used theirs so much that the company refused to renew them. I don't know the details but I do know they had a pretty good size motorhome.
  7. Most are not going to be as quick or as seamless as their advetising but I would unequivially recommend Coach net. I had 2 major tows, 1 tire change and 1 lock out of my new to me pick up over about 20 or so years and the end result was what I wanted But not totally seamless.
  8. Thats what I thought. and a house sure costs way more than an RV. I think new houses should care some type of warranty longer than one year on a house.
  9. I remember buying one of very few new vehicles I ever bought. It was I think one of the most basic F100's out there I think about 1980. What ever time it was, that year and several years around that time frame they had a 12 month -12,000 mile warranty. I had one major issue right in front of a Ford dealer with the clutch just about 100 miles before the warranty ran out. They fixed it and had no more issues for over 100,000 miles when I sold it for a heavier truck. How much warranty does a new sticks and bricks have. What if your builder ends up declaring bancrupty after you take possession? I think that has happened with a good number of rv mfg. over the years. But I do think there should be a better warranty rv's and a good number of other items.
  10. Been way too long for me to suggest someone but I wonder if there is some business listed as a commercial member for escapees.
  11. Will be 76 in Oct and this mirrors my sentiments exactly. Linda needs to set the parameters of the younger folks.πŸ˜€
  12. OK Lou, I'll bite. What is the ultimate result? No fair teasing without an answer.
  13. Plain and simple political reasons will most likely win out.
  14. note they posted a phone no just before the pictures.
  15. Unfortunately some will equate this to all or most law enforcement being this way. Of course that is not true but a far to high a percentage make the majority look bad. If Babb has legally busted a drug dealer or other bad guy all would be well. I tend to believe this case to be true as presented but I cannot prove it. As far as the filming inside the vehicle I would think Babb did that on purpose as proof of statements made by anyone he questioned the same way. I may be wrong but I believe it is highly unusual for officers to place people in front seat and I would think that could maybe help them feel less threatened while be questions. I have done a few ride alongs years ago and observed some of the standard operating proceedures and later on a couple of minor traffic stops recognized that some of the techniques were being used on me. Driving work trucks and especially work vans in fairly well known drug routes I was stopped because supposedly I failed to signal a lane change. Every time when they saw me up closer their demeanor changed and I was given just a verbal reminder and sent on my way. One of these locations was just east of Rockwall TX headed north in my case. Sometime in that time frame they busted a retired Dallas Cowboy hauling hash in the same 1 mile strecth. If they get it right I am on their side but if they are unethical they need to go. And I give lots of leeway as it is a difficult job. Sadly it takes a lot less training to put them on the street than a lot of other professions and that is not fair to them or the public. Super God Bless the good ones and I hope I can always have their 6.
  16. It took me a little while to sort it out since I did not trust the memory but the machine I was using at the time is W10 and I found out it is not W11 compatable but that's ok as I don't really use it for anything and eventually will be getting something new. I have a second HP basic chromebook more portable that I only access as a "guest" to do the little I do. Any thoughts about that.
  17. Good comical explantion but when it comes to understanding mine leans toward big hammer, screwdrivers or even firearms to express my feelings about fault products and I would add politicians if I were not afraid someone would take me seriously. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ƒ PS reading Clays post below I can tell he is old. πŸ™‚
  18. I tried it that way and it still said I was wrong. I think my computer hates me.
  19. With upcoming (or present) technology, they will figure a way to recover their share at the charging station including the federal part that is now collected at the pump. There may be fights and problems but something will have to happen to make it work. Might require new federal laws and fights up to the supreme court ( not too supreme but the best someone can buy) It will have to happen and it should have already been figured or factored. Otherwise many state dictators ( sorry governors ) will do it and force a solution at some point. I just hope if I am still a Texan when I switch we will have the relaible infrastructer to provide the juice we need especially in winters and after big storms where the power is out for extended periods. for pity sake how do you spell infrastructer. It keeps telling me I am wrong no matter how I spell it. (not a flying flip. Its just the principle.)
  20. I don't remember the exact numbers to look for but in the glove box on most if not all Chev trucks there is a decall with the build codes for that vehicle and the one for the rear end like g5 or g4 or somethiing. One means 3:73 and one means 4:10. There are other but that is the ones I was concerned about. Like stated most modern chev diesels have 3:73. update GT5 4:10 GT4-3:73 GT2-2:29 GT1-2:56 and there are others
