  7. ya - it's an old iPad - the developer of this app tells me it is compatible. They are publishing a fib methinks.
  8. 🙂 well - when you do a little study on how one of the most highly educated and technically advanced societies on earth was led into what happened 1939-1945... a lot of the "information delivery" would be very familiar to us today... Herr Goebbels wrote books on how to do it...
  9. thanks to Sandsys'sz observation - how bout this: steer tire sudden loss of air, correct reaction in a truck is apply full power to regain control, then reduce speed and stop normal reaction - apply brakes while gee hawing wheel causing overcorrection to left and landing upon guardrail which is piled under the truck - except - the direction of damage seems to occur on the lower right first... The vehicle seems to be on a single lane - like an on or off ramp - We could always read the news story! ok that was bad.... The host is going to kick me off the game show here right away...
  10. Dennis in a situation you can deflate truck tires to 30-35 psi maybe less on the drives, and 15 to 18 on the trailer to floatation out. See TireBoss website www.tireboss.com Don't exceed about 20 mph depending on air temp and blow em back up when you reach hard ground again yada yada
  11. The edumacated amongst you are leaving me in the "dust of this discussion..." being not holding of a college degree and all... but phoenix - isn't that list sumthin? Josef Goebbels would be happy.
  12. Also if you trust yourself swinging the bead axe at your just freshly polished Alcoa wheel who needs a tire shop if you carry a spare? Tire change on the truck
  13. RV my old iPad mini is getting back at me today - we have a classified selling app called Kijiji I use. Anyways the latest update for that app won’t work. Hmm… I look at the app specs - should work on my iOS version. iPad agrees this app will work. ‘cept it doesn’t. That will teach me for telling the story of getting locked out of my Android forever. 🤣
  14. “While the Canadian proposal has been deemed to be a collection of the worst ideasfrom around the world, the likes of India, the United Kingdom, and Germany are likewise pushing forward with internet regulation.” That’s why I enjoy visiting the USA where my mobile device is not monitored.
  15. Any truck, pickups to Big Trucks, are just plain more relaxing and enjoyable to drive when they are loaded with enough load to settle the suspension and provide a nice balance of traction and reserve power and braking. The idea of pulling RV sem eye trailer combinations is relaxation and enjoyment even during the rig move isn’t it? Not doing everything on the edge of maximums…
  16. I was an early user of Android on a nice HTC phone. I liked it a lot. I was then issued an iPhone by my employer. I liked it a lot. A while later I realized I should charge up the old Android and copy the pictures and whatever else I might have left stored on that device… But I have forgotten the password. I contact the Android dealer who recommended that tech to me. “How do I access my phone I’m locked out of…”
  17. 🤣 Dave and I have the same initial device criteria - "so it fits easily in his pocket."
  18. It's a physical communication media in which your preferences for each item you read or view is not recorded, traced, and stored forever?
  19. I think I read somewheres "our" old SE's are now the oldest still supported smart phones in the whole world...
  20. Yes - US citizens and permanent residents may now visit Canada for "non essential" travel.
