  1. Hummm; I too have found if I mess up and push the wrong button of the remote, If I unplug the TV then plug in again, it resets what I did wrong sometimes. I hate it when electronics are smarter than me.
  2. When a 12V LP detector loses power it is dead/nothing to power any signal. If like you surmised the fuse had enough metal remaining to pass enough power it checked good, it's possible to also pass enough power to trigger the low voltage alarm.
  3. I'm happy you're getting things straightened out. I too had very high BP after the heart attack, the highest reading was 210/140. My cardiologist did open heart surgery, then the next year 2 long stents. I'm still on 2 BP meds, but now have the opposite problem, low BP and low heart rate; BP is 117/50 pulse has been as low as 42, so he halved one BP med and now considering stopping that drug entirely. My point is follow the Dr. directions exactly, that's why we pay them the big bucks.
  4. Most "modern" TV's have in the settings a way to center the picture on the screen; likewise you can off-set the screen intentionally to reveal the X. TV's also have different mode settings, normal, zoom, etc Make sure your TV is set on normal/standard, or whatever is the smaller screen. I know when I have our TV set on partial zoom or zoom parts of the picture are missing.
  5. Why not use the neutral? For many years 240VAC MH's(Newell, Prevost,Foretravel, and others)without an LP system have been built and used in RV parks without issues.
  6. An air-ride seat for a Ford F350 would be a lot cheaper than trading trucks just for an air-ride seat. https://www.seat-specialists.com/categories/seats-by-truck/ford.html
  7. Amen! And it's not like you can put off replacing the battery until after coffee next morning.
  8. One safety feature of 12V LP detectors is, it beeps once every 2 minutes, indicating low battery power; just like a smoke detector beeps once every 2 minutes to indicate low battery power.
  9. Anything designed by humans is subject to errors. BTW, Rand McNally stopped supporting RV GPS units a few years ago, now their mapping program is designed strictly for OTR truckers and boating. If you still have a RM RV GPS, your lifetime maps is gone. https://randmcnally.com/map-updates/
  10. I did know one person who didn't own a vehicle, he rented one when he wanted to go where a bus or taxi did not; thus it required a driver license.
  11. Greg you will need to obtain an international driver permit from the country that issued your present driver license even though some states in the U.S.A. only require your present driver license.. https://www.usa.gov/travel-to-within-us bruce t, most U.S.A. states require insurance companies to notify the state dept. of motor vehicles if liability insurance is discontinued on a vehicle, including the VIN=vehicle identification number. That system is not 100% fail-proof but it works.
  12. No, not exactly. the irv2.com Vbulletin software has a feature allowing you to directly upload a picture from your computer. It is however limited for data size. under the reply box, click on go advanced to use that option..
  13. lappir is exactly right. For instance, The largest health care employer in Indiana is IU Health Inc.(not connected with Indiana University-a state run higher education institution). They own/control most of the hospitals in the state and have hired doctors from private practice, and bought specialty practices, to consolidate health care in the state. This is touted as reducing expenses to the general public. It is now very difficult to see specialists I've been seeing for many years. IU Health hires many Nurse Practitioners to see patients, who in turn make reports to the doctor specialists. Meanwhile doctors they hired are leaving at an alarming rate to find jobs elsewhere due to the low pay they are receiving. IU Health assigned me 3 different kidney specialists, I only saw one, one time. I never got a chance to see the other two, they left IU Health before my appt. The most recent facts I've heard say IU Health now has a financial surplus of ~$12,000,000,000.

  15. I wonder if this customer knows how to search for the various Schwinkek slide service and troubleshooting manuals?
  16. Just one GFCI as the closest receptacle to the circuit breaker, protects all receptacles downstream.
  17. I'd laugh if it wasn't so true. The sad part is, most of congress are lawyers.
  18. Yup; by using one of these hosting websites, you picture is actually being displayed by the free hosting website by the link it has you include in your post. Living large on a dime.
  19. Congress passed legislation requiring (2012)toll road management/standardization be completed by 2017. It has still not happened because of state turf wars. https://www.wired.com/story/national-tolling-system/
  20. NationalPass.com was the first to claim nationwide acceptance, but cheap it isn't. Presently this is where varying toll passes are accepted.

  22. It should not have a fuse for just one headlight, it will be for both; but usually headlights have an auto-reset breaker in the U.S.A.
  23. When cold the ATF should be at the low line, when you get it driveable and the transmission is hot, only then should it read full. After sitting 10 years the seals are dried out and probably leaking.
