For those that have been to KS state fair grounds before for the rally, do they accept packages for RV'ers there or is there another option you guys have used to get packages there?

Looking forward to finally making a rally!

Howdy All,

Leaving from home today, have to stop in Hayden ID, for some trailer repairs then will head to the rally.  Looks like I am going to have to deal with some bad weather unless things change in the next couple of days while driving through Montana and Wyoming, oh well been there done that as they say.  Hoping to arrive a day early we'll see as the trip progresses.  Safe travels everyone.

Does anyone know when will the State Fair Rd entrance to the campground be open?

I ran into the same problem last year. The gate didn't get opened until the rally. I finally got in by going to E17th ave and turning north on Poplar St. Poplar St will end right at the fairgrounds. Just go straight and you will get to the campground.

17th Street to Main St,  and then north to 20th St and back to Poplar gets you to the same entrance with less low trees than Poplar itself. and it's only 3 blocks longer.

We pulled in this afternoon and got weighed right away. I'm curious to see where we are when we get the numbers. It's been great to meet those that are already here.

We are parked on a corner lot on the main entrance aisle on the 3rd row with Trey & Susan across the main aisle from us and Bob & Sue  across row 3 from us. We have the Raptor Toy Hauler with the motorcycles under the nose. Feel free to stop by and say hi since we are new and still trying to put faces with names!

Since no one directly answered your question, we came in from the state fair rd right into the campground if that's the entrance you were talking about and the gate was open for us. We actually followed the directions on the HDT Rally page and it brought us in from Hwy 50E to Hwy 61N to N plum street south and then State Fair Rd to the north side of the campground.

I came in from the south entrance, Poplar St. and there are no issues with the trees. If my rig will fit, almost anything else will too. I have, however, made arrangements to have the North gate off of State Fair Rd. open as well.

Hopefully Steve will reply but pets are welcome at the fairgrounds but only service animals inside the buildings.

Normal campground rules. On leash, pick up after them.  As Carl said - not allowed in buildings.
