  1. Thats a lot smaller and should easily fit in the wet bay
  2. You tube has some excellent channels that have live video feeds from Boca Chica, they are building rockets while building the rocket factory around the rocket. The constitution has been 24hrs a day for several years, the process is amazing to watch history being made. Check out Labpadre and nasaspaceflight to see the starship program come alive.
  3. 49 inches tall 8 inch diameter for the small 1-3 bathroom model. 10 gpm.
  4. Fidelity here as well. They got the qualified accounts done in February but still waiting on the non qualified ones, saying march 15th for those.

  6. got my invitation to order star link today, for our S&B in south Florida. Regarding the mobility issue and field of view, here is the information from their web site; Can I travel with Starlink, or move it to a different address? Starlink satellites are scheduled to send internet down to all users within a designated area on the ground. This designated area is referred to as a cell. Your Starlink is assigned to a single cell. If you move your Starlink outside of its assigned cell, a satellite will not be scheduled to serve your Starlink and you will not receive internet. This is constrained by geometry and is not arbitrary geofencing. Can I change my service address? Starlink is only approved for use at the Service Address you provided when you signed up on starlink.com. When placing your initial order, you will have the option to select a different Shipping Address to receive your Starlink packages. If you have already ordered Starlink and your service address is changing please contact our Support team by logging into your account. Why do I need a clear “field of view” to use Starlink? If you could see the connection between a Starlink satellite and your Starlink, it would look like a single beam between the two objects. As the satellite moves, the beam also moves. The area within which this beam moves is the “field of view”. If any object such as a tree, chimney, pole, etc. interrupts the path of the beam, even briefly, your internet service will be interrupted. In early service, the required clear field of view is a 100-degree cone around the center of the dish (after tilting) with a 25 degree elevation minimum. Some obstructions are worse than others. Obstructions low in the sky will cause more outages because satellites are in this area of the sky more frequently. The best guidance we can give is to install your Starlink at the highest elevation possible where it is safe to do so, with a clear view of the sky. Users who live in areas with lots of tall trees, buildings, etc. may not be good candidates for early use of Starlink. However as more satellites are launched, the field of view constraints will decrease, enabling a wider variety of users. Most people do not accurately assess their Starlink's field of view. To ensure the best possible service, download the Starlink app to assess field of view in your desired install location before installing. Download for iOS Download for Android
  7. So you are hijacking this camera system thread by attempting to sell your PC ?
  8. Towing a 40ft long 5th wheel with my 2014 F450 which only had the stock tailgate camera that comes on automatically when in reverse- which is great for backing into a parking spot or hooking up to a conventional receiver hitch but that's about it.Wanting to add a 3rd brake light camera to see into the bed while hitching 5ver or gooseneck and not wanting to have additional monitor screens cluttering the dash or windshield led me into researching how to be able to display other cameras on the factory 8 inch MY Touch display screen via a hardwired solution.I chose the MY Touch Pro Lock Pick. It installs between the factory wring harness connector and the my touch screen, comes with the wiring harness so its plug and play. The lock pick has additional RCA type video inputs on it. 1 for a backup camera if you don't have the factory tailgate camera, a 2nd back up camera, and 2 other inputs that can be configured via dipswitch and programing setting to be either a single automatic front camera that comes on when in drive and under 7 mph or two left / right blind spot cameras that come one with the activation of the associated turn signal.Lock Pick allows you to select alternate back up camera input (B2) to display automatically when in reverse and you can also turn on any of the lock pick inputs at any time regardless of what gear you are in. You can toggle thru the camera inputs or turn them off entirely and can even enable the factory AUX video / audio inputs that are in the dash console to be active while in any gear. The lock pick uses the vehicles communication protocol (CAN BUS ?) to switch the views and is controlled by using the voice and phone buttons on the steering wheel. All factory functionality of these buttons as well as all the SYNC and my touch screen functionalities are retained.By having the lock pick display the alternate back up input ( B2) the 3rd brake light camera is displayed automatically when in reverse to see in the bed while hitching. Place in drive and it switches back to whatever was previously viewed up on the my touch screen , NAV for example. The 3rd brake light camera also has 2 blind spot views that are displayed by left and right turn signals but it requires trigger voltages from the corresponding turn indicator lamps to display. These views are only displayed while the B2 input is active , so is not fully automatic. However, since lock pick allows you to view any input in any gear you can select B2 to be active while in drive, activate the turn signal and get the corresponding wide angle side view from the 3rd brake light camera. This configuration can be used when no 5th wheel trailer is connected and truck blind spot viewing is desired for exampleThe left / right video inputs on the lock pick are programed to display the RV Trailer side blind spot cameras. These cameras are placed on the side of the trailer and have a 120 degree wide view starting at the trailer tires . They use extension cables to route to the front and connects to the F450 via a disconnection kit , the other end at the lock pick adaptors are used to split out the video and power. The Lock Pick has a special feature programing mode that tells F450 via can bus to display the left /right inputs with turn signals , so these automatically display with turn signal use. There is also a rear RV camera that uses the same extension cables, disconnect kit and adaptors with an additional 3 position video switcher that has 3 video inputs with it's 1 video out put connected to the lock pick B2 input . So now when B2 is selected one of 3 video switcher inputs will be routed to the touch screen display. .One video input is a straight pass thru and has the 3rd brake light camera as its input , the other 2 inputs have 12 volt triggers that will switch the video once the voltage is applied. The triggers are activated by a round 3 position toggle mounted next to the ciggy outlet, it is a ON-OFF-ON configuration. The CENTER off allows the pass thru (3rd brake light) signal and the REAR position brings up SV1 which is the rear trailer camera and the FRONT position brings up SV2 which is the f450 front license plate camera. The lock pick is also a power supply, has multiple power leads to power cameras. I use it to power the 3rd brake light and front license plate cameras. For powering the 3 RV cameras I used up fitter switch #2 and these adaptorsSo the system has a total of 8 camera views , 5 from the truck and 3 from the trailer- it is not the fancy 360 views, or a security system, or a dash cam, or a driver fatigue system- it allows the use of video as a tool for towing, hitching, backing, etc. without having to use external monitors or depending on wireless signals which was the criteria for this install. The installation was fairly complex and took several weekends of my spare time to accomplish with several adult beverages consumed in the process. Will post up some photos if anyone wants to see.
  9. Presume the outside system you speak of is exterior cameras... your plan of hardwired cat 5 is the way to go... to a local dvr or to a cloud hosted recording solution ...put the dvr on your network so you can connect to it remotely either computer or smart phone app... Best brand is subjective but by far the best cameras I have used are AXIS. Hikvision Model # EKI-K41D44 decent DVR and camera pack Dahua Model # C544E42 is a lower end dvr and camera pack Just be sure to use exterior rated cameras with the proper housings and such for the enviornment you are installing them in
  10. Hard wired is going to be the best solution, a cat 5 cable from the camera back to a POE switch . Each cable run no longer than 100 meters, or about 330 feet. You can then connect a computer to the switch to be able to view live, opening up a browser window per camera for example. You can also connect the switch to a router and view live over the internet. If you want to record the video, a stand alone DVR can be used and you can also connect it to the router so you can view both live and recorded video over the internet. A lot of the newer "DVR" have the poe switch built into them, as well as smart phone applications to connect remotely via internet so you dont necessarily need a computer. The DVR can be programed so that it detects motion in the camera view it will send a push notification to you, text or email. Of course a lot of that functionality is dependent on the internet being up and connected at the time! There are also services that offer to record your video in the cloud, so you dont need the DVR just the switch and router. You pay a subscription service based on the amount of cameras and length of time you want to retain the recordings and they can also send push notifications on motion detection to a smart device via internet You mentioned a siren, presume you are thinking security alarm system... the video system would need the capability to be integrated into a security system to record on events, such as alarm, arm/dis arm etc and again these notifications can be pushed out. If you have the security system monitored by a central station they can also offer the cloud services for the video recording and can perform video verifcation of an alarm event prior to dispatching to the police. These types of systems can be configured to use phone lines, cell signals, internet or combinations of them to send the signals to the central station so its not dependent on a single transmission method. It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish and how dependent you want the solution to be on internet technology. Things to think about are the reliability of the internet connection at the house, 120 volt power and battery back up for the switch, router, DVR, security system etc. Are all the cameras going to be interior, will the lighting be enough to record the video at 3 am or do you need cameras with built in IR for night vision? If cameras are exterior they may need additional housings, heaters, blowers, etc in them to be able to survive in the enviornment. At the other end of it, your location and connectivity when on the road to be able to receive timely notifications when an alarm is triggered or motion is detected and then when you do get it, what is your response to it? Hope that helps and gives you some things to think about.

  14. 1.Proper inflation pressure per manufacture weight chart 2. Balance and rotation every 5k miles- 3. Full alignment when new tires first put on, then if you feel it pulling or see any wear get it checked at the next rotation. 4. full lube job at every oil change to keep those front end parts lubricated my 2014 ford came with bf good rich and I got 70k on the first set, sitting at 129 k currently on the 2nd set - Only getting 25k with that type of wear is indicative that they havent been properly maintained or that there is a componet failure in the suspension system.
  15. Have you tried turning TCS off to see if the fault clears? On my ford f450 , when in 4x4 mode traction control is automatically turned off. There is also a button to manually turn it off. Hopefully the fault is also throwing a code that could be read with an ODB scan tool, either the dealer or auto parts store can plug in an read the code if theres one present and that will tell you what has failed
  16. So I got the invite and downloaded the Android app that is called Fuel Card. Seems to work better than the EFS app, faster to display and update. Also got this email yesterday about out of network use and fee of $1.00 which seems reasonable. So you always want to use the app and check real time for the available discount prior to fueling. Fee Change Announcement In accordance with the original out-of-network notification you received on August 1st, TSD will implement a $1 per transaction fee for any fuel purchased at stations that are not in our discount network. This out-of-network fee will be effective for all purchases made on or after November 9th, 2020. Our desire is to remain transparent with our fees so that you understand: how the program works, what you can save and how TSD is compensated. The reason for this adjustment in our fee structure is to cover the costs associated with processing these out-of-network transactions. Ultimately, where you fuel and what you save is your business but by making this adjustment, we can help offset the fees to process these transactions and continue to keep the fees lower on the discounted locations. Our program was designed to save you money so maybe you can extend that vacation or invest a little more time with those you love. Help us, help you by planning your fuel stops at in-network stations to maximize your discounts. Our new TSD Open Roads app only shows stations with discounts, so there is no longer any confusion on which stores save you the most at the pump. EFS Migration and Service Interruption Announcement EFS has announced that it will migrate it's current system to the new WEX platform on Saturday November 7th, starting at 1:30 pm cst. During this time your card will continue to work for purchasing fuel however, you will be unable to get an advance while fueling. It's possible there may be issues with the app and it's likely receipts for purchases will be temporarily unavailable. If you are a commercial carrier you will be unable to login to the EFS system and receive EFS checks during this maintenance period. This should be completed by the end of the weekend and back to normal by Monday morning. If we learn of any changes to that timeline, we will pass that information along immediately. Drive safe and thank you for being on the Team!
