If DTV is going away, why would anyone think Dish isn't? I don't consider $100/mo outrageous. And I love that DVR. I will be with DTV until I find something more suitable for travelling. And I don't mean cost.

Amen. The state of California closed its parks to overnight camping (I was evicted), yet left the restrooms open for public day use. We campers are self-contained and don't need to use the restrooms, but I guess the powers at be think we all travel together in big groups and have no idea what's going on. I just got this petition in an Escapees email , but yet many Escapees parks are closed to new arrivals. Not sure I follow that. Thank goodness for Day's End, where I can find nice places off the road which won't be subject to any of this. Unless there's some kind of martial law enforcement of no travel, I'll be fine. I'm waiting out some cold weather between Quartzsite and my home in NW New Mexico, and I need just a few more days to do that. I'd rather be home than sweating out some kind of insane lockdown...although there won't be much to do when I get there.

Quartzsite is open for business, AZ state parks too. Doesn't make a lot of sense to close state parks when a private RV park (ugh) puts people much closer together.

My retirement system (city gov't), through fear or incompetence, stopped posting 1099s online, so this year I had to wait out the paper mail to get my duplicate because the first one is lost. Rather frustrating to say the least when that took 9 days from WA to CA. And of course they couldn't just take a picture of it and send it to me, or just tell me the 2 numbers I need. Oh no, that's "unsecure" and "not our policy". Meanwhile, someone has my original 1099 with my SSN on it.

Hence they have to go home and deal with paper.

It's so easy to do them online and not have to go home.
