Av8r3400
Just floating a trial balloon here, please don't beat me up too bad... With what appears to be the demise of the East Coast Rally (Thank you Carl and Donna for your years of work hosting it), would there be any interest in something a little less formal and more of a straight social gathering of HDT people? Maybe near one of the ORV parks in TN in the same spring time frame? I know there's several people with ATV/UTV/Jeeps who may be interested. Honestly, I don't even know if there's an RV park near the ORV areas with facilities to accept rigs like ours. Thought or Comments??? Danfreda1
We would think about it if there was a campground or if you could dry camp at the park like we do in Idaho.
Chad Heiser
We are always up for a RZR riding trip. Although my last foray to the ECR was an expensive trip. Parrformance
Yes, almost all the sites are pull through and large enough for the truck and trailer and two Jeeps with room leftover. GeorgiaHybrid
You could also take a look at this park: https://www.adventureoffroadpark.com/ They have 120 trails from mild to wild for 4WD and SxS ORV and LOTS of room for campers (don't have to trail ride to camp there) but they do have two major drawbacks. First is that they host about 20 races a year so you would need to schedulle during an off week and the biggest problem is that it would be boondocking only for most sites No water, sewer or power which wouldn't affect some of our crowd but would eliminate a lot of others being able to enjoy the experience. They do have a limited numer of water and electric sites available but not sure about a dump station for sewer. It can also get a bit loud from the open frame contractor generators running at the Tennessee redneck's campers to keep their beer cold....
