  1. Wider tires should stay on the rim well/better, if the need arises to air down the tires in a situation that requires it. Less air wider footprint, better flotation, especially in sand. The truck can then air the tires back up with a quick connect added, and an air hose.

  3. They never actually leave the payroll, then they start adding employees that you feel like profit sharing withπŸ‘¨β€πŸ¦³πŸ‘΅πŸ§‘πŸ‘§
  4. I need the hoods gas springs as well, just not as bad as I needed the luggage door springs.πŸ€•
  5. Mount the Mother-in-Law seat behind the rear most axle:)
  6. Look on the interwebs, but did not find one.
  7. So did it work for him?
  8. Still waiting to see someone build a rack on the deck to haul the car at an angle, that matches the angle of the load ramps. This would overcome the breakover angle issue and provide some storage below the car on the deck for storage. Build it right and you could do oil changes and minor work under the car while on the deck. Would also get the car within the deck width, making it fit in the width requirements.
  9. This was how I found the part. I guess now I could get hired on as an old fart.πŸ€”

  11. I found that the seems were not the issue. The fairings bolted to the cab was an issue. I have temporarily fixed it by sealing the gap between the upper fairing and the side fairing. I will eventually remove the fairing and fix it. The sealer is still working though.
  12. Suite, clip the lower side first, then seat the upper. Should have ordered new ones a year or more ago, just didn't want to spend $100. One head wound too many, camping in the cold Tennessee mountains.
  13. For those that consider themselves very frugal, or others that prefer the term, cheap bastard. I have found gas springs for the luggage doors on the Volvo, $25 for all four with free shipping. Takes 5 minutes each side to swap them out. Quit holding them up with your head on cold days. https://www.amazon.com/C16-09209-C1609209-Quantity-Tonneau-Supports/dp/B00774U6HY Fit and function exactly like the original Volvo units at 1/4 the price. 14. Please take a moment to check voltage to the ECU of the transmission. Be sure that 12 volts is present, and that the ground is clean and secure. With the Volvo, the lack of good ground at the battery from the transmission computer caused a similar condition for me.
  15. Yes she will, especially if she happens to be from Missouri.
  16. Amazon has DOT approved fittings. I scored an entire box of miscellaneous DOT fittings from a tech at the nearby Volvo dealer, for$20. Some were new some were used. I rebuilt the used ones and keep them in the truck. Even used one of the new brass compression fittings that was in the box to fix a propane leak in the camper. If you do remove a compression fitting, don't throw it away, Amazon has a box of assorted brass ferrules for cheap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07XSB1W3M/ref=sspa_mw_detail_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07XSB1W3Mp13NParams
