  1. Door switch ... I thought about pulling them and checking the actual contacts . Don't know why I haven't done that yet . I've checked everything else . I thought that maybe it was something with the main circuit board . I just tried to pull them , but , they aren't moving . Is there a special method for removing those switches ? Multiple flicking does nothing .
  2. Norcold 1200 ... The Interior light doesn't come on . The old bulb is still good , but , I replaced it anyway . There's no power to the bulb at the joint connection for the thermistor / light . The thermistor has power . I've disconnected all power to the main circuit board for a few minutes . Maybe not enough time for a total reset ? It should be noted that the light was working prior to a defrost with the fridge turned off . Restarted the fridge and the light doesn't come on . I'm wondering what might cause that^ ? I've searched without finding a single answer .
  3. Hopefully you'll be placing those Barringtons on hard surfaces or they'll sink into the ground , until they hit the cross bars .
  4. Fighting my way to the egg ? I do that almost every morning , But , I like toast along side . LOL
  5. Be absolutely sure it's DirecTV you'll be giving your information to .
  6. Maybe : https://www.homedepot.com/p/Xtreme-Dash-Cam-XDC6-1003-BLK/206632954?cm_mmc=Shopping|G|HC|D25T|25-31_GARAGE/AUTOMOTIVE|NA|NA|RLSA|71700000037147753|58700004141485307|92700034088528807&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-tXlBRDWARIsAGYQAmejim0ysl2zY6_Dzm_6Re2BUh98HDLuFI4fleZ3nhKZqRQqKqaMhgUaAtb0EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  7. We were 'there' , too . Tons of stuff donated and a few garage sales took care of most of what had been accumulated over the previous couple decades . We really didn't need a lot of things 'required' , as most can be used in almost any lifestyle . We wait until we'll be sitting long enough for delivery to catch up to us before we order anything .
  8. We had none of those . We must be very fortunate to still be full time about 9 years later , with no end in sight and still not having any of those .
  9. It is for us . We have to make a personal appearance once every 5 years for drivers license renewal .
  10. It shouldn't take much gas . Looks to be in decent condition . At least on the outside .
  11. I've found that loose connections can cause 'headaches' . Here is a diagnostic manual for your fridge : https://www.fourwh.com/NewDometicRefrigeratorManual.pdf
  12. I remember when I was just like that . Still am , sometimes . Old habits and such , I guess .
  13. For us , tolls are easily justified by taking a different route . Who wants to be in the middle of that kind of traffic ? We're in no hurry and the stress is far from welcome .
  14. Hmm , maybe if the tank were never drained and cleaned as it should be . I replaced the original heating element a few years ago . The original gave about 15 years of service . The new element cost about 8 dollars . If the new element last even half as long as the original , it would take way more than 50 years to come close to breaking even on the softener cost . Of course , by then the tank interior might be so caked that it might be time for its replacement . But , I'll leave that task to some young RV restorer a lifetime or two down the road .
  15. Ha . You could buy about 50 years worth of Lime-Away for the cost of even a cheap water softener , not to mention what it takes to keep them functional .
  16. So , Dollar General isn't such a good deal anymore . Try Dollar Tree . They aren't as prolific as DG , but ... Anyway , good your 'problem' is disappearing .
  17. Lime-Away . For a single dollar ( Dollar Tree ) , it can't be beat . And , It doesn't stink .
  18. Just go buy a bottle of Lime-Away . Put a couple inches of water in the bowl and a good healthy shot of Lime-Away . Don't be afraid to apply too much . Let it sit . No scrubbing required . Our toilet seal is original . It's been doing it's job for almost 19 years . I simply repeat as needed .
  19. Normal ... very subjective . I use to do what you're describing , too . Not a chance it'd happen anymore . There are always things of interest , if you look close enough .
  20. There's a big part of your problem . Are you getting paid for that ? Or are you just trying to cram too much into a 5 pound bag ?
  21. Our toilet valve seal is original in our 2000 Monaco . Years ago I thought I had to replace the seal because it wasn't holding water . Finding a crust of mineral buildup on the seal , I tried a healthy amount of Lime-a-Way ( a calcium , lime and rust remover ) in the bowl . Left it soak for a half hour , at least . Guess what , no more water leakage . The seal was crust free and supple . I give it a like treatment when I see it starting to loose water .
  22. We tried to sell the house in 2010 -11 . Not even a low ball offer was made . We were going full time , so we became absent landlords . For 4 years we put up with the worries and hassles and higher taxes and the lies . Finally , the tenants decided to buy a different house . We spent a solid 3 weeks fixing the damage . Work , eat , sleep ... 3 weeks , every day , all day . Then it sold , fortunately . Never again .
  23. I simply pasted the direct link for the pic below , with no tags , from my https://postimages.org account . I
