Mine is neatly packaged away until such is needed . We do our best to stay as close to 75 as possible . Degrees , that is . I figure 60 years of snow is enough , unless we day trip to the peaks during Summer .
-
If you buy one that has auto on and off ( mine is on below and off above 37° ) you have no worries the whole time it's needed .

I always plugged my heat tape into one of the 120 outlets in our coach bays .

I suppose they could be used for other things , but , probably most common use would be to keep a hose or pipe from freezing .
-
Yup . That works , too . I wonder what they do as preventive roof maintenance for 385 Bucks ?

Shows just fine , now , Jack .

I have an active Google account , but it's still a no see'em .

Me either . When I have what is suppose to be his pic opened in a separate tab , I get a negative sign in a circle . Otherwise , in his post , it shows as a blank rectangle .

I see the link , but still no inserted photo .

That makes sense Jack . Thanks for the explanation .

I question that. It has a residential range, all electric, electric water heater 30 gallon. 2 15k dometic heat pumps, fireplace. Stated he had never tripped a beaker. I don't believe that statement but must not have a problem. We pay for electrical here also. OK . I suppose it would be kinda hard to prove without digging up electrical lines . Just that it seems the added cost of running separate lines for 30 and again for 50 and again for 15/20 , would be rather over the top . Specially for an older campground . It might happen in a high end resort type , but , I'd doubt even then .

I'd bet that 30/50 setup wouldn't gain anything as the 30 is likely taken from a 50 leg .

I don't see a photo . Maybe it's an early April fools joke . LOL

Use flashing LED lights as rodent deterrent
Pat & Pete replied to suzwoodard's topic in General RV Information
Good that you don't advocate destruction or vandalism ... I don't know where you got the idea that I do . If you simply read what I wrote , you should see it as a mere 'warning' that some folks might not take kindly to the annoyance . Just a reminder that not all RVers are as friendly as we would have them .- 31 replies

Use flashing LED lights as rodent deterrent

Flashing lights ??? If you park within sight of anyone , you might just find that your lights don't work very well for very long . On a more productive note , spray or cotton ball a bit of fox urine around your rig .- 31 replies

Maybe you should ... We use ours often .

Our shower dome is double pane . Never noticed a leak or a difference in temps . I did notice that the original sealer that the factory used was starting to loosen and I removed the dome , cleaned the sealer and applied new sealer . I replaced the dome , screwed it down and then applied my preferred roof repair tape ( much the same as eternabond ) . That was about 5 years ago . No leaks .

But , Ray , some of us are not :

You Think ... Today you can lift a 3000 , but will you tomorrow ?

We have and do the same . Keep it simple . Life's to short .

This Solar-Powered RV Runs Without Fuel Or Charging Stations

All else considered , the paint job is kinda dead . LOL -
There may be exactly what you ask for , but I'm not aware of a page to that effect . If you have a question about forum use or just about anything else , just post and someone , mostly a lot them , will offer you an answer . I think most of the members really don't mind lighting another candle .

And , anyone care to bet that anyone of those 3 had their personal information breached ?
-
Just seems kinda strange that they would choose that exact time to dump a load of shares . Not just a single person , but 3 at the very same time . Hmmm .
