We were able to keep the new fridge at , I'm guessing , about a 20ish degree angle while bring it up the stairs , through the door hole and onto the MH floor . Once inside , it was kept fully upright . We also left it in it's new home for about an hour before plugging it in , just to be safe . We had other things to do , anyway . That angle wasn't too far off what the fridge went through when unloading from the pickup used to transport it . I had unpacked the fridge , moved it to a spot under the awning and plugged it in . It was chilled within half an hour and ready for use , while we removed the old Norcold . So I wasn't real concerned about ill effects after moving it into the MH . This particular fridge had instructions that included it could be laid on one side ONLY and no other sides without any harm or having to wait any time before use . I think it was the left , but I've forgotten for sure which .

Correct . A lot manuals can be found on line ( the internet ) . I asked to find out how TXiceman downloaded his manuals with no need for the internet . -

I might ask exactly where you're downloading these manuals from ? -
We too have been asked for photos of our 2000 Monaco . We've never been denied as we keep our rig in good order . Most places just want to keep the junk out . If your rig looks right , you shouldn't have any problems .

That happens a lot on Google maps .

Bad propane leak with auto propane switch
Pat & Pete replied to slackercruster's topic in Technical Tips and Tricks
You may know this : Mix some soapy water in a spray bottle . Spray each connecting point and then the regulator . Any leak should produce bubbles . -
You want the upper left size , in the twin pack . LOL

Thanks , Jay . I obviously hadn't read that post . Guess I got up too early this morning .

So , you're going to run away with the goods ? Exactly how was the problem solved ?

We were in about the same boat . We winter in Texas . The county were were in was getting a few hundred doses at a time for thousands of residents . We decided to wait until we were in Michigan where we could get both doses/shots ( Moderna ) at the same office from presumably the same run of vaccine . Worked fine for us .

I tried PB Blaster . I never bought a second can and pretty sure I never emptied the can I had . When I applied it to rusted nuts and bolts it just sat there , no matter how long I left it . A little story : Years ago , I was trying different penetrating 'fluids' and just wasn't seeing anything very impressive . One of our park coordinators asked what I was up to , listening to my story she suggested I try some amazing lube she had in an unmarked spray bottle . She called it Pete Stuff , as the fellow she got it from was named Pete . She told me of old rusted horse trailer doors that would open with great effort before having Pete stuff applied to the hinges and after would open with ease . The owners of that trailer were amazed and tried to buy some , but, none was to be had ... After I used up what she gave me , I wanted more and , of course , she didn't have anymore to share . She said Pete was working on bring it to market . Anyway , it turned out that he ( Pete Stuff Pete ) promoted that secret mixture and is now the product I pictured above : Nano Spray .

We spent a summer 17 miles south of T or C , but never a winter , in a nice little campground . Cheap , too . $150 month + electric . A little cool for our liking , but , I'd imagine winter being not too bad for weather , as it's high desert . Our Monaco has a V10 / Ford chassis . There's a switch located under dash near the steering column . I'm wondering if an electrical ground became undone or corroded , which could easily have a similar result . I had to redo a ground wire , also close to the steering column . That ground had to do with transmission control .

I would think any 8.1 Vortec would take the same filter . I usually see what's being replaced and cross reference to a brand I trust . Or just Google what you want .
