phoenix2013
Home brewer, hmm? I had an employee who was big times into it, brewing competitions, etc. Half of his cellar was insulated and turned into beer fridge. He brought some stuff to a company party, the dark stout stuff was something else. He let us taste taste only small cups of it, smooth stuff but what a buzz generator. trimster
Jackalopee installed truck side. I'll get the RV plug side done when the bed welding stuff is done. Bob Hello Bob, I have a question for you. The grey/aluminum colored plate where it's mounted at. Where the bolts already there on your truck ? Or did you add the bolts to the truck ? trimster
So, the backing plate is ¼" lexan plastic I cut to size on a bandsaw. There was the bottom of a pole storage bracket there, which I removed. The holes in the cab were factory. There were some washers with rubber gaskets that I left between the mounting plate and the cab. I theaded the plastic to mount the box too. alan0043
Thanks Bob for the info. The reason why I asked the question about the bolts is because I need to mount 8"x12" box on the rear of the cab of my truck. I don't want to drill holes thru the cab. Your doing some nice work. Keeping it going. I'd also recommend running a bead of silicone across the top and down the sides about an inch between the cab and the lexan. trimster
Okay. Why, after installing the Jackalopee does the radio brightness go from bright to dim with each turn signal blink? trimster
So, wired according to the instructions. The backup lights are on with the running lights. I've tapped into the truck's backup circuit. With or without that connection, the reverse lights come on with the running lights. Thoughts? trimster
Found the problem. One wild wire strand escaped the clamp and was touching the center connector providing 12v. Doh.
