Striper
I'm sure you guys will have a lot of fun and laughs around the campfires. Wish I could be there with you, but not in the cards again this year. Hmmm maybe if I do a rain dance, or 3, you won't be able to light the desert on fire. Naww that just wouldn't be right.🍸 Joe Quote Joe The "Doghouse" 04 Tiffin Phaeton 40TGH TOAD--2008 Dodge Dakota

Darryl&Rita
I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Lee (IYQ), and his cowgirl tales. We had plans to meet up his last winter on the road, but the cosmos had other plans. hdrider
We are in Ignacio just 6 miles rom Tom & Diane's home. Had a great visit and tour of their home a couple days ago and they stopped by our new home yesterday and then spent the afternoon in Durango together. Sure great to see them again. I think tonight we will all be at a Block Party in Bayfield, bound to be another enjoyable evening. palamine
Doug and I remember Lee fondly. We have several things that he gave to Doug for putting the boxes in the back of his pickup. We stopped in for a couple of nights the first part of June to visit Tom and Diane. We just relaxed at their new to them "Ponderosa". Such a nice area. Read in your blog you were at Blanco State Park in Texas, that's 15 miles from our house. Too bad we missed you, think we were on our trip then. We miss Lee too. He kept this thread alive. Lavinmh
Lee was always looking for spaghetti dinners. We were sorry we never got to go to his deli with him. rmcf308
Lee (IYQ) was an amazing person. His knowledge of the night sky was vast. Also if there was any subject he could not discuss intelligently, I am not aware of it. Besides he ended up with the ice cream machine from Steve and that was quite a feat. Miss you Lee. Wanderin
It's been a little over ten years since a bunch of RVers actually met in the Quartzsite desert. Remember that time? Then, we met again and again and again. Between our gatherings who knew where any of us would be? We were here and there and just about everywhere. No one knew if they'd run into another until Dave Sand stepped up and created a map for us. We all had our passwords and were so good at pinpointing our location just in case another one in the group got close. None of us wanted to miss getting together for a lunch or dinner with a new found RV friend. What fun we had and what great times! Thank you Dave for that wonderful map you created that kept us all close. Dave created that map and then I embedded it in an easy to remember (I hoped) domain name. It was RVClass2008.com. Well, this has been in use for those ten years but it's about to come down. Folks are slowing down (obviously) and the use of the map has dwindled. Thus, I've decided not to renew the website for another year .... Not sure when it'll disappear off that site but since I removed my credit card, it'll be soon. Hopefully, you'll continue to travel and with Facebook around, we can all keep up a little there if not here! 'Tis life on the road. palamine
So well-written Jeri. We will miss the map but you are right. With Facebook we usually know where everyone is. Thanks for giving us this app Dave and thank you for paying for it Jeri.
