My AT&T Mobley hotspot never seems to update and when I check settings says none are needed. After about 4 years it still works great in both trucks. If it auto updates then I am not aware of it. I see the same types of people trashing up campgrounds and day use areas in every state I have been in and that is many. Some people call them heathens but that is cruel and unusual punishment to the pathetic woke crowd. Most seem to have local plates of that particular state. Just saying. Except for a few cars at a few casinos I never see any autos being charged at the other business EV stations throughout Reno, NV area and Reno is on Interstate 80. This includes grocery stores and some hotels. I have been observing this for over a year just out of curiosity between out of town camping and fishing trips. Very well said and reason I rarely use a private RV park even on the west coast and then only out of absolute necessity with a great deal of research before hand. Thru very recent research on medicare website and others I find this not easy to find info buried way down the page, etc. If a hospital or clinic, doctor, medical supplier agrees to accept medicare assignment payments then they cannot refuse to accept supplemental medicare medigap insurance policies such as my AARP UHC plan G or F, etc. I finally find a Reno Renown hospital financial critter who confirmed this to me on the phone even though Renown no longer list AARP as acceptable insurance on their website list of accepted insurance providers. Whereas across town their competitor Saint Mary"s hospital has always and still does list AARP on their website. Renown has been aggressively pushing their own Senior Care plus Medicare Advantage plan for many months now. Because of their sorry sneaky attitude I will be using VA and Saint Mary's even more in the future. Saint Mary's is rated higher in several crucial care categories on the Medicare compare website. Both local news media and Renown were vague in their statements about UHC policies and led one to believe all UHC policies were not accepted. I am glad I have the VA hospital system and Saint Mary's available for backup and presently use VA for eye, dental, SA and PC in addition to Renown. Have used Saint Mary's in past for heart testing, etc. Anyone doubt my info such as then just do your own digging as I have done. I cannot see comments of certain others. Thanks RV for the recent veterans benefits news from the AF Sergeant Assoc. Although I am a former active Army and Guard/Reserve pilot the U.S. Air Force has been very good to me in Vietnam, during my Guard duties and now as a veteran and also as a young Civil Air Patrol cadet in early 60s. The AF flew me from Cam Ranh Bay Vietnam to Tokyo in 1970 on an Air Evac C-141 Starlifter transport and I have flown Space A on AF flights within the USA. As a veteran with the military ID card (DD Form 2765) I sometimes stay at AF Inns and family RV camps on base plus use other Base facilities such as PX, Commissary and MWF recreation activities when on fishing / camp trips. Also entitled to again fly Space A when they resume these flights. In early 60s as a junior HS student and Civil Air Patrol cadet I received an orientation flight in a AF T-33A Shooting Star jet trainer on a flight from Connolly AFB in Waco roundtrip to San Antonio and return over my home in Temple, TX. In the B&W photo I am being strapped in to the rear seat for this thrilling flight. The AF is one fine organization and I would have joined except I then had only two years of college so chose the Army Warrant Officer flight program instead. There is nothing immoral about streaming movies, etc, and I love it as has worked perfect for me almost everywhere on the road fishing and camping trips and two unlimited internet services for less than $100.00 per month. One for sticks and bricks and the AT&T mobley for travel with good reception. Can also watch other stuff such as news, weather, etc. If I wanted to I can save more money by using Mobley at the house and have done so in the past. I don't miss overpriced TV shows that are a lot of 20 to 50 year reruns of same thing over and over. Don't care for most of the new live programing as it is just g . I never have any problems finding my free, and/or discounted cheap services such as Prime, Roku, Hulu, Youtube, etc., etc. I now have Hulu for only $1.95 per month as trial that I will drop soon. Watch tons of free movies from many no charge services such as Crackle, etc. I do not disparage satellite TV but those knuckle heads who disparage streaming do so out of pure American jealously yankee style. Nevada state parks also just raised their rates for out of staters for day use and maybe camping fees as well. I do have their free entry pass for disabled vets and their camping fees are only $15.00 with no hook ups at some of their parks I frequently use. This is offset by the free or discounted camping rates I receive at NF/BLM campgrounds in NV, Calif, and Oregon and some SPs in Calif. Happy Camper here. Check out NV SP website. Okay since FB was mentioned in reference to me let me say over the many years FB has allowed me to reestablish contact with many people in my hometown and HS class from a long distance. Also get up to date info on them and the many folks I worked with over seas as a civilian helicopter pilot plus renewed contact with guys I served with in the active Army (Vietnam) and Army Guard plus some of the Vietnamese refugees whose lives I saved as a volunteer UN rescue pilot in the south China Sea in 1980. Those people were resettled in Germany and I am still in contact with a few. I use FB to maintain contact with many of the others I just mentioned. Many of these people were curious about my present status and experiences over the years. I could not have done all this without FB. The many photos I posted on FB also serve as proof of who I am and what I have done in a nation full of fakers and phonies. This of course bothers some people because of their jealously but TS. I have been called liar by the jealous ones on other forums until they see the photos, news articles and other info on FB. Many many of my "stranger" FB friends are friends of friends and ask me to friend them and many are women from everywhere including good old USA. Because of FB my HS class reunion honored me from afar for my Vietnam combat service and receiving the Purple Heart medal and all this was in the local news media. Although I have no respect or use for MZ or JB or BG their products have been very useful to me for free of charge including cheap Amazon Prime subscription. Very easy. I access my internet connection (Spectrum) or on the road (AT&T Mobley hotspot) with my smartphone or laptop and then log onto Amazon Prime, Hulu, Youtube, Roku, etc and begin watching a lot of free or cheap movies. I use an HDMI cable or cast my movies to the TV or watch everything on the laptop. Lots of good options. I have the Roku, firestick, chromecast gadgets but don't really need or use them. Everything works just fine. I no longer care for live TV garbage except a few news programs and weather and I can get this just by streaming. I have a Firman 2000i inverter generator that i bought at Costco for half the price sportsman warehouse wanted for same generator. Have used it heavily and has all the same bells and whistles for RV use, UsB, etc. It runs quiet like a honda. Should have bought two at that sale price. No problems at all and I use Stabil in the tank and fuel cans just as I did with my previous Champion 3500 for years with never any hiccups. I sold my Champion in a used but new condition. Yes I stopped using private RV Parks many years ago except on rare occasions. I have always liked the Federal and state and some county/city parks in a more natural less crowded setting. Even then I never camp there on holidays and only a few weekends. Then I camp on remote BLM lands in the NW. My last private park was a nice Indian park in Salem Oregon and it was less than half full. I read a lot of articles from RV Travel a good read. As a full disabled vet I receive free or 50% off discounted camping and day use fees at all Federal campgrounds and state parks in Oregon, Nevada, sometimes California and formerly Texas.
