  1. I read about tuners that increase mpg and can be “piggybacked” with another tuner. I figger if I hook 3 or 4 together I’ll have to stop down the road somewhere and remove fuel to prevent the tank from overflowing.
  2. Ya I bet they had it decked on the Landoll before the rv weight police got there.
  3. When I get my pre ordered electric tow vehicle with 900 torques and 18k payload and 1500 mile range my little KW dually has, I am retrofitting the Fiver / fifth / trailer with wheel motors for trailer assist on upgrades and regen braking on the gravity assisted downgrades. I will interlock through the on board LAN wifi to play the driver seat view sound of a no mufflers Cummins C-Brake whenever in regen mode. But it won’t play outside the truck. Should work.
  4. I made the forced landing not far from town. Mechanic zoomed out with a buckboard with some fuel. We fueled the feed tank. He had a small electric fuel pump. Dropped the pickup in the fuel and attached the out side hose to this handy plug on the fuel system. Alligator clip wires to the batteries. Circulated fuel till we had return steady to the tank. Bumped the starter and vroooom... then we fixed the gauge back at the shop. No computers were needing an update in the whole procedure.😀 back to gliders...
  5. Would a guy hafta read the instructions?
  6. My Coleman Mach8 musta been validated by a deaf person. No one complains about my generator cause they can’t hear it over the ac unit noise. Apparently a “quiet kit” is available in the aftermarket. Why isn’t it there in the before market one wonders. Anyways just go up in elevation or north on this continent and ac is not required much.
  7. Video title page has fake news? 1989? Kenworth built gliders long before 1989 Anyways I can’t watch it in camp right now mobile phone data is too expensive so I will have to go mooch a connection somewhere.... I turned a 1981 Peterbilt 359 into a glider one time one minute the Detroit Diesel 8V92T complete with 110mm injectors was purring along at 1500rpm 10 seconds of fussing and soft pedal and it quit. Became a zero emissions vehicle. “Fuel gauge! You lie to me! I wailed. Amazing how many squeaks, clunks, chuckles, and chirps are evident in a 60 mph glider. Anyone remember how you prime and start a DD 2 cycle turbo supercharged Diesel engine?
  8. I’ve camped in the boondocks where you could hear a jack rabbit fart a half a mile away. I’ve camped on a boondock lake shore listening to the call of the loon. I am typing this having a coffee and listening to a herd of coyotes barking and yapping and robins chirping. I’ve camped in the pits at a race track and enjoyed Friday night run what ya brung drag racing, 360 Sprint cars, and a national motorcycle road racing event on the same week end. I’ve paid $65US a night in Malibu to have a twit in a class A pull in 8 ft away and run their roof airs on howlin fan blower mode 24/7 in winter. Some 🎶 of these camps is not like the others🎶 But ya see my condo has wheels ... want a change of neighbors? Kick the tires and away we go...
  9. And LPG stays happy in storage - no gasohol absorbing water - no diesel growing algae...
  10. You’d have to spend about $375.00 USD Steve. Slide in campers aren’t a vehicle -no fees. Oh but our dmv isn’t totally immune I bought a home built utility trailer a friend did not need at his new place for $150. It is made with good workmanship, lights, reflectors, he had it for 12 years properly registered. I go to register it and it now needs an inspection and a “VIN created”. $60-$100 for an inspection. Then fix what they find “wrong”. $150 for a VIN from an approved Creator of VINs once it passes inspection and then the new reg fee... So the trailer was all legal yesterday but needs inspection ... ”It’s the rules...”
  11. O.M.G. - I just shelled out $476.00 Canuck dollars to register ... 5 trucks (including a Kenworth class 8) and 2 motorcycles fir a year trailers are “permanent” one time fee as long as you own it... ssshhhh don’t give our guvvermint genius’sz any ideas...
  12. Propane has many btu’s less per pound than gasohol and even more less than summer deezil fewl. It’s why deezil engines are “more efficient”... btu’s per lb and high compressions. Rudolph Diesel was pretty intelligent for a guy without a smart phone 😁
  13. My Holland FW0001 fifth wheel looks just like that “Binkley hitch” but has no pins through the pins. Is it going to fall right off the truck?
  14. Dang it! Dolly I kinda thought about some sort of limited “taxi at 200 mph” distance rating airplane tars might have... rats... In the immortal words of Wile E. Coyote: back to the old drawing board...
  15. Exile there is some truth to that. A guy at a campfire warned me about chem trails above the desert, and then explained why he towed at 75 mph: yer engine uses less fuel because it doesn’t run as long on the trip.
  16. A C-Force is built like a Carriage trailer all in house at the time - steel chassis, aluminum frame and roof trusses, one piece roof substrate, decent fittings, solid maple doors, in house upholstery, corian counter tops, garage is separate from all sleeping areas, Mor/Ryde suspension, interior decor lighter colours vs the common down a coal mine dark themes “high er quality” kinda. Mine 2007 weighs 14,000 lbs empty, 18,000 gross. Tri 7000 axles so axles and tires not working above 70-80% of max, carries 110 gal water, 70 grey, 38 black, 30 gal dirt bike gas plus 30 gals genny gas, 5500 Onan... and mine’s for sale, with or without a1998 Kenworth T300 4 passenger pre emissions tow mobile...
  17. Could you bump the starter Glenn?
  18. So a guy better add a air hitch?
  19. Found these tires for sale on the webernet: Aircraft tire Dunlop size 34×10.5-1624 plyspeed rate 213 mphTubeless They should work on my toyhauler. It’s for when I get my Kustom T660 low rider modified Cat C18 850hp/3000 torques streamliner 18spd / 4spd air shift auxiliary done. It should haul a RV “without getting in anyone’s way”.It won’t have a muffler.
  20. Hi Ben - take a look at Carriage’s “C-Force” models as an option. Decent quality trailers that don’t cost a fortune.
  21. Finally! Someone who knows how ta pernounce Warshinton. A beautiful state southwest of us up here in Albirda - west of Skatchiwan.
