  1. Are you meaning CPAP machine. I rinse the Water chamber each morning with the hot water. I wash the hose monthly with soapy water or Vineger. The mask get hot wash rinse each morning. Each morning less than 10 seconds time and air dry. U/V treatment will a slight odor if not clean. First dear wife had trouble in Ozone air and I've read if you use Ozone to clean your CPAP machine don't use the machine for several hours to air out as high Ozone levels are bad. As to a Cap if it gets dirty, I use it for the dirty work awhile and then toss it.
  2. We brought a InvisiClean air filter a year ago for two reasons. We had dust and a musty smell after being stored a couple months. Used the Ionizer only when out of the RV for the holidays. The Filter has a UV feature also. I believe it has run 24/7 since unpacked. Sure helped our sinuses (or so we believe) and then the Covid-19 came. We paid about $200 but the price has INCREASED. I also have a UV device for cleaning my CPAP mask and since the COVID-19 it gets double duty for cleaning cell phone, billfold jewely and much more. Clay
  3. I've told the inspection is having a physical inspection once a year of the VIN numbers. They want the vehicle to match the paper work. Not every state cares as long as there is a good title. Clay
  4. You may be able to pull a few trees but after awhile your field's smoother surface will turn to potholes from root removal. Will your truck with the stiffer frame be able to have traction then especially after a rain? I would tackle killing the trees either chemically or by hand ( stripping the bark). That will leave them them easier to pull next year. Another solution, Sell Christmas Trees and with the money find someone with a dozer and root rake. Clay
  5. USPS. I had problems over a month ago but last 3-4 weeks have been normal 2-3 days and seldom 4 days. I track my mail so normally can see the delay. If the weather is really BAD at Houston the mail may in 4 days. When things were really bad I had a 11 day delivery. The load took about 6 days to get from Houston to Chicago. But the common delay was the trailer getting to Chicago then moving around the Chicago area an extra day(s) or just setting because the drivers were calling in sick. (Per the local Postmaster). Of course the local P.O. is not pure. Last year the the mail truck delivered the Priority Mail 15 minutes later than normal. 23 hours later the Priority mail was received. I think the only problem the Escapees mail service is keeping up with USPS changes. Clay been satisfied 6 years or more primarily to Texas Hill Country or NW Illinois
  6. NW Illinois, this morning is 49 after a high of 54 yesterday. Of over 3 inches of rain yesterday giving a 10 day total of 6+ inches. Doesn't make for happy campers but Aug was a good month Clay Not camping but having weekly medical visits.
  7. Welcome back Very interesting discussion regarding the O2 generators Clay It helps me understand two of my friends difficulties also
  8. This may not fit your Thanksgiving -Christmas schedule but for us having a spread out family. We stopped about 10 days at Bardstown KY .. Lots to do and my wife loved the Christmas atmosphere that was provided. Depending how far you travel for day trip but lots to see with an hour's drive. Clay
  9. Ditto to GlennWest Normally has easy access dry storage. Ease of hooking and Unhooking (you don't have climb over the side of a pick-up bed). I don't have worry about a truck trail being up or down. Pending where I parked and time of year I carry difference items on the deck which can reach and remove easily with out unhooking of breaking my neck. Clay
  10. My 2 cents hooking to a Fifth-wheel is easier that a TT A Fifth wheel is a stable vehicle to pull. As far as storage the difference between a Fifth wheel and a Class A. The FW has more storage at your finger tips while Class A stores the majority underneath. My wife had shown an interest in a Class A some years ago till she watch a couple in plain view make many trips to the Class A Basement with an item and return with another item Clay 7 years with a FW and prior was a small Class C
  11. In your jeep time around Ouray have you drove up to Yankee Boy Basin. Not a bad drive but if either driver had a problem with that, stay away 550 south. My Mother in law told me "Clay watch the road as they don't have room for a white line in the side." That was some time ago. My present wife likes Ouray because it is looking up but to get to Cortez, we took Hwy 62 west from Ridgway to the San Migel river. Then down stream headed to Norwood. Leaving the river and climbing out of the Canyon my wife did cover head to prevent looking down. I took her to the Black Canyon and she wouldn't get out of the truck. Clay
  12. Last night was the first I used it since I completely took the total gas system apart to components. I found an abundance of the oily like substance in the regulator. I laid the regulator in difference positions leading to draining the regulator. I repeated this till nothing drained. Before I had trouble getting to 400 degree, now it heats very rapidly like normal. Clay
  13. You have lots of time to find what you may desire. Maybe you will find what is very close. Imagine living in it (especially on a rainy/stormie day) do you have room. Anyway I bought what we liked about 2 years later we was looking and I traded to overcome a few features that we originally thought was great. What I'm saying don't lock yourself in on something you won't like down the road. Read the forum, will you have a enough storage without having the unit over weight. Listen to the people here rather than some salesman Clay having had Tents, 14 foot TT, 23 foot Class B++ and two FW's Happy Travels
  14. First I using a Wingard Pathway X2. In the past I Could use two 211 receivers with a single Hdd. I could record on either receiver which ever had the Hdd or playback a program on which ever has the Hdd. Switching the Hdd between the receivers posed no problem. Can i switch the Hdd between a 211 and a Wally with the same ease or will I have problems. Clay
  15. For me I try to keep my weight down Grey is always dumped as the showers may be longer or maybe a load of clothes were washed. My black tank has a good flush system so on the road I never go more the two days but a good practice is use extra water with every flush. On the fresh water regulutor. don't try to save money as some trend leak thus the pressure is only reduced when your using water. I had cheapie regulator plus a drag hand pressure gauge. I found the pressure recording 114# a couple nights. Happy Travels Clay
  16. Thanks for the feedback. I have some things to thinks about. Also a practice I have done the past 2 summers hasn't helped keeping the oil from getting to the grill. I store the grill at floor level with the hose connected and pressurized. Mark enjoyed the link, Oil in Propane Line. Clay Quick after thought, I suspect the Aux propane line on the RV would be the Drip Leg so if I used that line, I would be feeding off the Drip Leg?
  17. I have a Weber 120 grill has a hissing sound that oil becomes trapped in the regulator and burner tube. it can be eliminated by dis-assembly. Is there a high pressure trap or filter to trap the oil before the regulator?? I use a 20# tank that is filled locally. Thanks Clay
  18. Wise decision. From my experience most batteries if cared for last 5 years. Clay
  19. We had some great tent trips until a bear opened the back side of a friends tent. At that point be purchased a 1968 14 foot Road Runner. 20 gal water storage, Ice Box and 20 lb propane bottle for use with Stove/oven, gas light and heater. Cramp the ice box full of frozen items and we good for a week. It could sleep 6 but seldom more than 5. Never had a parking problem, never got struck where if we waited a few hours we couldn't drive out. Visiting the big cities always offered lots of camp grounds to shower. Explored most of 3 states in something 1/3 the size of present RV. No I can't go back because I'm 50 years older but still like the solitude. Clay
  20. It was a hot day this week when the batteries was disconnected. The little box is to protect fuse. I didn't look at the size or what the cable feeds.. Someday without the sweat. Thanks for comments Clay

    Highway 50 Colorado

US 50 is an enjoyable drive and I never saw a Flatlander freak out in the first 100 miles. Monarch Pass fine your gear and settle in. Nothing like Colo 139 Be healthy Clay
  22. I brought a pair in 2018 from TransAmerican Auto Parts Compton CA with a years warranty. I didn't made a year or 15,000 miles before it started leaking. Original shocks on the truck are the same part number, so no substitute was made. And no replacement warranty was ever received. Just out of stock. Just like GY and tires, you don't take discounts as adjustment on thread separation will be greater. Nothing finally a statement saying adjustments aren't made on 17.5 inch tires. I keep getting bit by warranties and I learned better in 1985 from Ford Motor Co. Clay 2015 Sport Chassis M2 106
  23. A way to explain the power company supplying your electrical needs is some hours of the day your useage is high as mentioned above. Then they have all the generators (will call it Dogs and Ponies also) running. Now you have a big truck and we many people have big truck's so they can stop. Like wise they like the highcube engine to get up to speed of over the hill. That is when your calling all the Dogs and Ponies to help, but do you use all or any of the Dogs and Ponies traveling across the flat land? Size the convertor to get you peak Electrical useage normally the afternoon but could be the morning if you run a electric heater Clay after 33 years in an electric utility
  24. This picture shows the little enclosure box in question. I have no idea what is inside. I may have cut about 1/4 of the little enclosure off is downsizing. The terminal at the left edge of the photo is the Pos terminal of the left hand battery and the right hand end of the little enclosure is near the Pos terminal of the right hand battery. Clay
  25. I'm more interested in the extra hardware. I can't read anything off the device, is it resistive, a diode, fuse or?? The truck engine is a Cummins ISL 8.9 which could also be in a coach. folivier - I do like like to use colored used ty-wraps. Clay
