  1. My primary cell number is my old home landline which I ported to a cell phone many years ago, so that number goes back several decades. I think all my kids have cell numbers that are ten to twenty years old. I guess there are those who change their numbers more than we do... But then, I'm just a little OCD, soooo.. Jay
  2. That is correct, however two factor verification can stall you if you don't have an up to date method of doing that, such as a current phone number. My wife also still has her old cable email address on some accounts that are resistant to change. We just made sure the verification code - if needed - went to a current phone number. There are often on some of my accounts the option to pick from several phone numbers or email addresses for verification. Jay P.S. For clarification, I don't actually USE the old email account, just the old email address as the user ID. Obviously, a closed account is not accessible.
  3. Why can't you log in with that information? Just because it's no longer in use doesn't usually mean you can't log in. I still use the occasional old email address as a login identity. Or, just create a new account. Jay
  4. I have some personal knowledge of where a fair amount of quarters are going. We have a couple family members who are buying quarters by the hundreds and thousands. They spend many hours going through them looking for collectibles. Currently, their big thing is the new W quarters, from West Point, featuring America The Beautiful. They then list their findings on eBay. They're making more from that than I would've imagined. In the meantime, quite a few coins are out of circulation. I'm sure there are quite a few others doing that as well. Jay

    Crossfires

I've been using Cat's Eyes crossovers on my work trucks for about twenty years, with excellent results. I initially used them because of the difficulty in checking and airing 16" duals, but since am using them on all dual axles. They allow me to visually check air pressure levels as I walk around, plus I have a single point to add air. Also, there's the benefit of automatically balancing both tires. Wouldn't be without them. 7. I just and like this one http://news.banggood.com/u/nrd.php?p=9ccYTENRwO_14986059_2675773_-2_1&ems_l=2522012&l=lxxtwK22ywebqaferkksshagsq2IBgippAeCb8b68%3Db6c9Eb.40bEGHGbEhnywxefpibTsAivbEhetxivbWyttpCbYWbTpykbWtiihbGsrxvspb%3DspxbHmwtpeCbtb57_98-8alxqpJyxqchiwmkrZ85UyxqcwsyvgiZiqevwCwUyxqcqihmyqZRiAsvhiv5-554~UyxqcgeqtemkrZ%24geqtemkrcgexiksvC%24UyxqcgsrxirxZAmrreUwgcwvgZiqempc%24gmh%24UwgcilZ%24tivwc85755%24UwgcppmhZ%24ppmh%24UwgcpmhZ%24gpmromh%24UwgcymhZ%24ywivmh%24&s=6Ee-XrkFNomaWgoR9J4rKJepCXU, but it may take some months to get it, under the current climate. Water hose help!

It says drinking water safe in the description, so that's what I went by. I didn't just buy a generic garden hose. Also, we don't use it for anything else. We only use it to connect our fiver to city water. Jay

    Water hose help!

Our flexH2O hose is crazy flexible and really easy to store. That's one of the things I like about it. Jay

    Water hose help!

We really like this one.. http://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.samsclub.com/p/lightweight-hose-75f/prod21991834&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwj2jez9hY7sAhWwl-AKHcgdA4MQFjAAegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw0_ono3znsoa8wy6zoMErPf
  11. Thank you! That's really appreciated! Jay
  12. 1. I still use the HHRV resource guide on a regular basis. 2. My Android smart phone is my method of accessing the internet probably 95% of the time. Jay
  13. 😄 Great idea! Works for me. Jay
  14. I'm sorry, but that just looks like your everyday click bait to me. It's just a survey, so I don't see any kind of rational analysis involved. Are the respondents just saying they like their preferred country's health care because it's free? Or, what parameters are they basing their preferences on? I'm not sure and I can't tell. I'm certainly not clicking through to find out. Hmm.. Jay
  15. Just run the generator while using the slides and awnings, then run your low usage items off the battery. If you have a state of charge indicator, that'll tell you when you're getting low enough that you need to run the generator. An SOC gauge is really essential for accurate and efficient battery management. Jay
  16. If you read his post, he couldn't find it in an hour. He worked on it all morning and ended up spending the day on it. He did the best he could under the circumstances. It may not have been his first choice, but neither was the hurricane. Jay
  17. Glenn, I absolutely get what you're saying. People can really be vicious when they're throwing rocks online and don't have to make the hard choices in a difficult time. Your posts and interesting projects are one of the reasons I still tune in. I truly hope you stay. Jay
  18. That makes more sense..
  19. We don't yet even know the level of efficacy of a new vaccine. We hope it's significantly effective but won't know until we know. We also don't know how stable the genome is. If it's more like the flu, it won't be terribly effective. Jay

    HDT add ons

Commercial truck APUs are notoriously loud and nothing at all like an Onan except for the TriPac, which is almost tolerable. They're certainly not as bad as your typical reefer, but you wouldn't want to run them around other campers, unless you really don't like your neighbors. Jay
  21. The chassis are delivered to Newmar in stacks of a half dozen or so at a time on a double drop trailer. They're only driven around the yards a few hundred feet, or so. It would be easy for someone to reattach the ride height valve with a zip tie to move around the yard, but then the likelihood of forgetting all about it is off the charts high. It may be time to consider a lawsuit. Jay
  22. Judging by the title of this thread, they're not having any luck with that. Jay
  23. Glenn, perhaps someday you can look at our Newmar. I'm not seeing any compromises related to the dually setup. We absolutely love it. The laundry is in the upper level bath on this one, but there is plenty of storage and flat floors on the main level. I keep hearing about Newmar design limitations, but I guess we just haven't seen them yet. Jay
  24. While that is technically true, you can call your toy anything you want. I almost never call my truck a tractor, even though it is. Jay
