    Window cranks

I have a 2015 Itasca Ellipse 42QD with 10 windows that crank open and closed. About 6 of them won’t close tight and allow hot and cold air to escape. Also they bang while traveling down the road. I called Winnabego to get new ones but they want $75 each. Not spending $450 to fix a poor designe. Anyone know of a place to get discount replacement parts?
  2. Just a thought, I have never used Uber but it seems to be very popular. Maybe you could park in the suburbs and take a Uber into town. Or check to see if there is public transportation like a subway or trolley. I have only driven thru Miami on my way to Key West once so I have no idea what is there.
  3. Ok, so getting back on topic. Is the new TOGO using AT&T unlimited $360 a yr plan a good way to go? Can I stream using this device? What do I need to hook up to my tv? A fire stick, a Roko? What streaming services are available and at what cost? Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+. I assume I would get my local channels OTA? Does the TOGO set up a network for my iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Canon printer without needing any additional equipment like a router?
  4. It’s just a new digital form of old fashioned rabbit ears. It will receive over the air signals in HD if you are in an area to find a signal. If you are out in the boonies you may not have a signal. Also you will not be able to receive Cable/Sat only channels like ESPN, Turner Classic Movies, CNN, etc. You will only receive OTA broadcast channels.
  5. When I replaced my China Bomb tires on my 4 month old fifth wheel trailer because I already had two blowouts I decided against replacing them with the Goodyear brand because of all the problems I read about Goodyear’s. I went with Mitchelin XPS Ribs. Had them for 5 years before I traded my 5er for a Class A. They aLmost never needed to have air added and look just as new 5 yrs later as the day I bought them.
  6. Go to an Ace Hardware or their website. I was just in one the other day looking at propane gages. I would imangine that any store that sells BBQ supplies would have some. True Value, Harbor Freight or the big box stores Home Depot, Lowe’s, WalMart and Target. Check out their web sites too.
  7. No docj. I have Plan G and it pays the 20%. You don’t have to have Plan F.
  8. The Patriot Act expired several years ago The Real ID Act is the current law. If you have a Passport you can use it for your Federal ID if you want to be non-compliant.
  9. Is the bill for her Medicare deductible or did Medicare deny the claim. Medicare has a deductible of $185 and pays 80% of the remaining bill. If you have a Supplement, it will pay the remaining 20%, after you pay the $185 annual deductible. If you have an Advantage Plan it is different. I have a Supplement and know nothing about Advantage Plans.
  10. I used to live in California. The DMV is where you go to get a drivers license and pay your registration fees and get your tags. One stop shopping.
  11. I have the Escapees SD address with a PMB as my address for my RV, Jeep and Harley. I have had insurance for all 3 for over 5 years with 2 different companies. I also have my Medicare insurance with that address. Go to a different agent and insurance company. I am now with Geico. I was with Allied a division of Nationwide thru Millers Insurance before I switched to Geico.
  12. I say I’m from the State of Confusion heading to the State of Insanity. They I tell them to just put the location of where I am and will be volunteering/working.
  13. I would think that Disneyland and Disneyworld would be on a rental companies list. Tons of people from around the world visit them.
  14. You don’t need a business to form a Montana LLC but if you do have a business you can form an LLC in any State for your business. Your bio says you are from VA so you could form an LLC in VA and have your LLC purchase the RV as a business expense and put it in your name or on your tax return. But I would still caution you to check sultan with a professional. A Tax Lawyer would be able to give you advise on taxes and LLCs
  15. There are many Escapees parks in AZ as well. I have stayed in the boondocking area at the Co- Op located in Benson. Not sure how long you can stay but it’s very inexpensive and you can attend the activities if you choose to do so. They have a dump station also.
  16. Do you have a personal residence in addition to the motorhome? The tax law regarding a Office in your home is that the Office area must be used exclusively for an office and no other purpose. You also can not have an office located elsewhere besides the one in your home. If you are fulltime in your motorhome these same rules would apply. It would be difficult to designate an area in a motorhome as exclusive use for an office. Now if you are traveling for your business, going to your clients locations, away from your home office, your travel expenses for fuel and camp ground fees MAY be deductible. Food on the road would only be partially deductible. You really need to consult with a CPA, or Tax Lawyer. Do not rely on any thing the IRS tells you. They are often wrong citing their own rules and are not held to false information given if you are audited.
  17. Escapees has a Co-Op in Hondo TX which is just west of San Antonio you may look at as your final stop.
  18. It all depends on what State you are registured in. Many insurance companies also say they are full time but they mean that the coverage is 365 days of the year. Make sure your full time coverage covers you when parked and for slip and falls in your rig and campground and for personal contents like a homeowners policy I was with Miller for many years and they were able to get me coverage with Allied a division of Nationwide. Their premiums went up a lot a few years ago. I shopped around and found out that in my State of So Dakota many insurance companies would not write a full time living policy. State Farm, Hartford (AARP), Liberty Mutual and it’s subsidery Safeco were a few who would not. I went with Geico and saved a lot. Got my Class A, Jeep Wrangler, Harley, an Umbrella and three rental properties with them. Just renewed and the premium actually went down. Just an FYI, Geico says they do homeowners and renters insurance but they actually broker it with Travlers but you still have a Geico agent.
  19. Before I retired and went full time 8 years ago I was a Defense Lawyer in Calif. The law then, and I don’t think it has changed, is that if you do NOT have a permit to carry concealed, any handgun in a vehicle must be unloaded and in a locked container other than the glove box or center consel. This was ony for hand guns. Long guns still needed to be unloaded but did not have to be in a locked container.
  20. Big Rick check out my post on Sept 26. Same joke but it was Peter Sellers. Just as funny in your version, lol lol lol 😆
  21. I would have your medical service provider/Dr contact Kaiser and OHP and advise them that the treatement is medically necessary as prescribed and appeal the decision to denial of your claim.
  22. I will actually be in Davenport south of Orlando. I contacted Cummings in Tampa and was quoted only $800 for full service including the genny and chassis inspection. Guess I will go to Tampa on my way to Davenport and avoid Orlando Cummings.
  23. I worked at the Escapees campground in Demming NM, Dream Catcher RV Park. In the office is a map of a bypass around El Paso. I don’t remember the directions but if you go in the office they will be able to show it to you.
  24. I’m the OP. I will be in the Orlando area. I am being told by friends who live there that the roads around Orlando are very crowded and that there are many toll roads with less traffic to get around and that I will need a Sun Pass. Just trying to decide if I need to buy a Sun Pass,
