Now that we are retired we are doing more trips, going further, and staying longer. In Sept we leave for a 55 day 5600 mile run to the baloon fest in Abk NM. If all goes well, we'll do a 4k mile trip this fall and a 8k mile trip over the winter. We seldom bobtail, as we park in an area for a while, and explore in the Jeep, dirt bike, or on foot. So far, I have found the best MPG, is while on foot!!
