MrSeas
Found on "Google" Use your email and in the "TO" box Combine your recipient's 10 digit phone number with one of these domains: Alltel: @message.alltel.com (or @mms.alltelwireless.com for picture messages) AT&T: @text.att.net. Sprint: @messaging.sprintpcs.com. T-Mobile: @tmomail.net. Verizon: @vtext.com (or @vzwpix.com for photos and video)
SWharton
I tried this and it doesn't work. I am on Cricket, which is ATT, and can't send a message. I would love to have something generic, so I don't need to know the network a person is on. Thanks

I sent both mms and sms to Verizon phone and both worked perfectly. Everybody wanna hear the truth, but everybody tell a lie. Everybody wanna go to Heaven, but nobody want to die. SWharton
I guess I will need to ask everyone who their carrier is so I can text from the PC. How do our phones know what network someone is using? I can see in a reply there is a header or something but when I text from my contact list it is just a phone number. Now I am more curious than anything else.................

SWharton
Mighty Text worked great. Little sketchy on info on the website and other odds and ends but I don't plan to be a heavy user of it. Thank you so much...............
