AllenF
Before the big snow storm hit I moved the Volvo to the top of the hill with great plans for the kids. I have a 16' bed with dovetail and thought what a great start for a sledding hill. With the use of my snow blower it took me, my brother, and twin 16 year old boys about 4 hours. It should be around for a while since its about 3 1/2' thick.
spindrift
As a displaced northeasterner, I'd love to see the pics, but can't. Anyone else?

Phil D
I'm seeing the pics. It looks terrific! In fact, even though I'm more than old enough to know better, it looks like a good time even for an old fart. No doubt the kids are loving it. adept99
Now that I've gotten the forum connection up & running again, the only thing I see wrong with the setup is the lack of a money collection box at the top - you could make a fortune!! That just means your wife is normal . You might want to build the berm up at the bottom curve , just so a body doesn't end in the garage .

rdickinson
I hope the runnnnn doesn't terminate them into the side of the garage. Why not add a jump at the bottom, when iced, and send them on to or over the roof of the garage. Kinda like Evil Kineval and the Snake River Canyon jump. Do they use tubes? SuiteSuccess
This is ours with the grandkids. We live on a hill with 100 foot drop in elevation to road below. Ride ends up being about 150 yds. I do it once with DW then march back up the hill and I'm done. GK will do it all day
MrStretch
All these pictures remind me why I live in eat Texas and not Idaho (grew up there). As I say to my friends... "If God wanted me to live in the cold he would have given me a full head of hair" It does look like fun though.
