Found a new use for my Volvo

Recommended Posts

Before the big snow storm hit I moved the Volvo to the top of the hill with great plans for the kids. I have a 16' bed with dovetail and thought what a great start for a sledding hill. With the use of my snow blower it took me, my brother, and twin 16 year old boys about 4 hours. It should be around for a while since its about 3 1/2' thick.

I'm seeing the pics. It looks terrific! In fact, even though I'm more than old enough to know better, it looks like a good time even for an old fart. No doubt the kids are loving it.

Now that I've gotten the forum connection up & running again, the only thing I see wrong with the setup is the lack of a money collection box at the top - you could make a fortune!!

This is ours with the grandkids. We live on a hill with 100 foot drop in elevation to road below. Ride ends up being about 150 yds. I do it once with DW then march back up the hill and I'm done. GK will do it all day :)

  • 2 weeks later...

All these pictures remind me why I live in eat Texas and not Idaho (grew up there).

As I say to my friends... "If God wanted me to live in the cold he would have given me a full head of hair"

It does look like fun though.
