Richard Dahl
THE TRUCK HAS BEEN SOLD! THANKS TO ANY THAT HAVE HELPED ME, LIKE POSTING THE PICTURE BELOW OR EVEN DOING ANYTHING THAT BROUGHT THE PAGE BACK UP TO THE TOP OF THE POSTINGS. AT THIS POINT, I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE POSTING AND THE PICTURE. IF ANYBODY COULD HELP ME WITH THAT, OR TELL ME WHO TO CALL ON DOING THAT, I WOULD SURE APPRECIATE IT. This Volvo was purchased brand new by Rick and Lynn Dahl and completely customized by Auto-Motion Industries in the Santa Clarita, CA area. It is as customized as you will find. The box on the back can fit a small car or quad, golf cart, etc. You may have seen this at Escapades for a number of years before we stopped doing the shows around the country. There are less than 90,000 miles on this beauty. It is self-contained enough to be licensed as a motorhome in Oregon, where it has been registered since new. It has a little sink with hot and cold water, TV/VCR, refrigerator, microwave, and a single bed in the sleeper. It has a porta-potty under the bed. It has a factory inverter, plus fresh and waste water tanks. It is set up to transfer fresh water into and dump waste water from the fifth wheel, by way of a macerator and the onboard water pump. This Volvo comes with the 15 liter ISX Cummins engine, and the freedomline automated electronic 12 speed transmission. Windows and doors are electic. It has dual fuel tanks with 375 gallon capacity. It has Pressure Pro tire sensors. There are dual aluminum ramps on wheels that come out of hidden compartments for access to the garage with vehicles. Both axles, cab, and seats are on air. There is a Trailer Saver/Hensley hitch with three air bags. The hitch is completely recessed to allow total and free access to the deck, complete with a hinged access door. The custom deck, storage bays and box are made from stainless steel and aluminum, except for the steel white coated deck. This is a one of a kind HDT with a phenomenal ammount of life left in it. Our price would not even cover the customizing that has been done. $75,000. It is as close to new as you will likely ever see. Our phone number is 602-625-1875. We answer as RV Water Filter Store, so don't be surprised. It will be the right folks. I was unable to get pictures to attach, but I have several. I will send pictures, if interested. It will be available when we move our Teton over to Jojoba Hills SKP park in early April. It is currently in Yuma, AZ and can be seen there for the next several weeks. Wheel base is 237". Garage size inside is 130" deep and 97.5" wide. Thanks to the contributor that put the picture below on for me. That is great! My e-mail address is rick@rvwaterfilterstore.com and please feel free to respond that way or by phone as I am not used to using this method of correspondence. I can't seem to remember to keep checking it daily.

phoenix2013
This truck drew lots of "wows" at Escapades. 90,000 miles, this thing is still wearing diapers.

buzz64
Forgive my ignorance, I see "bump" from time to time. What does that mean?
Darryl&Rita
It means a "bump" back to the first page. It's often done by the original poster as a way to get eyes on the item again. If I do it as a favour to a friend, I'd post a "GLWS", as a way of bringing his posting back up. This is shorthand for Good Luck with Sale. earlvillestu
And against the rules: "Things not to do for sale ads: 1. Put up a "bump" post when there is no change in the topic, that is unfair to both the other sellers and to the buyers. It also can aggravate the administrators which is not a good idea." Big5er
Gee, I've never seen that rule posted in the HDT forum. Where did you find it? LOL we are just "bumping" this add like crazy, without even saying "bump".
Phil D
And against the rules: "Things not to do for sale ads: Big5er has a point. This listing isn't in the "For Sale" section. While the HDT Forum is subject to the Escapees Forum rules in general, things are a bit more "laid back" here, and management gives us a bit of latitude to be that way. If you prefer an environment where people are expected to be sticklers for every rule, then hang out in the "For Sale" forums. If you're willing to be more flexible, then hang out with us here and enjoy the ride.
rickeieio
<<If you're willing to be more flexible, then hang out with us here and enjoy the ride. >> Phil, Even though we've never met, yer okay by me.
Phil D
I hope to meet you -- and a bunch of other HDT Forum "friends" that I've also not yet met -- one of these days, Rick.
skp51443
Nobody gets too upset in the sale forums these days until the bumping gets out of hand. It isn't good to have your still active post down several pages when stuff ahead of it is sold or the posts are abandoned and I think the current management is fine with that. Now if you start bumping your post there every day or even weekly I'd think you might get a suggestion that you do it less often. A bit the same outside the sale/wanted forums, if you aren't seeing an answer to your question. There you'd be a lot better off with a clarification to or expansion of your original post rather than just posting "bump" or the like.
earlvillestu
I believe this rule applies to all forums: "Escapees Forum Rules Rule #9: No commercial advertising, or spamming, is allowed. The only exception is posting of private party ads in the marketplace."
TrapperBob
Is truck still available?
Jack Mayer
If you have an HDT or MDT for sale feel free to post it in the HDT forum if you like. And the For Sale section, if you like. As Phil said, the HDT section is a little "libertine" in its every day activities. A reasonable approach to making info available is fine. You will be told if your approach is not reasonable, I would bet.
Brad & Jacolyn
Good Morning Trapperbob, Yes, the truck is still for sale and it is sitting in the storage space at Jojoba hills in CA. I had not idea about the BUMP thing. I was just trying to help after I met Richard a couple of days ago and he asked if I knew anyone that was looking for a truck. He told me that he had someone interested a while back but when a Volvo dealer had disparaging remarks about the Freedomline transmission he lost interest. I personally don't have a problem with the Freedomline. His only has 88K on it (that is barely broke in). Mine has 745K and no problems. If you have any interest in the truck and want someone to go touch and look at it besides the owner I will be in the park until June 16th. feel free to PM me. Big5er
I haven't had any real issues with my Freedomline either other than that voltage doubler thing last year. It was an easy (although pricey) electric component to replace. If you have any interest in the truck and want someone to go touch and look at it besides the owner I will be in the park until June 16th. feel free to PM me. Brad Brad, I am so glad you told people to send you a PM, rather than reply here. You have no idea how anxious I am for this thread to dip down a page or so.....well, maybe you do Oh darn, my own post "bump"ed it back to the top. shucks
Brad & Jacolyn
Richard you may want to move this over to the For Sale section. It would certainly get more attention over there. Brad
