Onthego
We'll probably be in Q early in January. Chalk or pencil only for plans. Had planned to move to Jojoba Hill Escapee park today but they are full. We could've boondocked until Friday but decided to Palm Springs instead. We were going there after Jojoba anyway. Also the bedroom remote was found under the bed. When the slide is in the is a hole so it jumped out of the holder and bounced on the floor through the hole under the bed. Now we have a spare remote. LOL. The park we are at is doing Thanksgiving dinner tonight, we'll be free to watch football all day. Travel safe everyone. Dave Sand
The class map says we are in Lake Elsinore but our pin is near Desert Hot Springs which is where we are. Not close. Jeff Google is confused. If the pin is on Agua Caliente from the entrance to Mesa Grande, then the town name is correct. Anywhere else in the park is wrong. My guess is that Google has issues with the road names within the park. Another possibility is that someone supplied incorrect information. Jeff LOL on the remote Jeff...bet you couldn't replicate that bounce move again if you tried! We were hoping to get into JoJoba after leaving Q but, may have to reconsider if they're booked up in November. I'd think that it would be even harder to get in during the end of January? And to think that some people make sport of me for making reservations... Happy Thanksgiving everyone...don't forget to leave room for some pie... I moved our pin to the entrance of the rv resort and it changed to the correct city. Thanks again. Roger, Jojoba Hills doesn't take reservations so you just "wing it". sandsys
This is a repeat but I want to be sure anyone interested sees it: Emerald Cove is still my favorite RV park out of all the ones we visited. The membership we had expired so we didn't have the option of reselling it but I highly recommend taking advantage of the Lavin's ability to do so if you can. steved44
Well, it's getting cold around here at night. Last night it was 29 and it's supposed to be 26 in the morning with rain. Bad part is we can't sleep in tomorrow because we have to be at the body shop at 0600 so I guess I'll put the engine heater on before we go to bed. All of the body work is done now, but the 4 colors of paint have to be put on and then the Diamond Shield coating over that. Don't know how long that will take, but hey, progress is progress! We just drove through the main Tiffin parking area a while ago and it's full up. There are even three or four just arriving that will be in the boon-docking spaces. Sure don't want to be in that lot in the morning when everyone is lining up at bay doors half asleep. Now speaking of sleep I'll have to go to it earlier tonight ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Quote 2007 Tiffin Allegro Bus 42 QRP"BessyBus ll"ATT hot spotWinegard TravelerM&G Braking systemRoadmaster Sterling tow bar08 Dodge Dakota toadSea Eagle 10.6sr Inflatable 1957 Johnson 5.5SKP 98998 Class of "08"

Wanderin
It was nasty in Mesa last night too. There was lots of rain and wind. Ick! Hopefully, that's behind us now and sunny skies are ahead. I really hate it that we can't watch the NFL games we want to. Dish convinced us yesterday to sign up for NFL RedZone to watch the Seahawks. We saw about 10% of the game as it switched back and forth to other games. We cancelled it just about as fast as we signed up for it. Of course, that was probably a game we didn't want to watch anyway. We don't pay the extra for their version of RedZone. The Ticket is expensive enough. Apparently, Dish doesn't offer the Ticket? I think that the only reason to add RedZone is if you are into fantasy football (which we're not) and like to jump around to check on how your players are doing.
