  1. It would help to change the subject of your post to something more descriptive than your User Name.
  2. We used to subscribe to a bunch of magazines, but don't subscribe to any now. The Escapees magazine is read online...I don't get a paper copy.
  3. My doctor's office is no longer taking temperatures before entering the waiting area. I have been asked if I've had contact with anyone with COVID (no). Masks are required at all times.
  4. I pay no attention to either the post count or the ranking. However, if both are going to be part of the forum, you'd think that they would at least match. The forum software isn't an Escapees in-house software -- it's provided by a third party. The Escapees IT department may be able to make changes to eliminate the post count and/or the ranking, but if so, I suspect they have other more pressing matters to deal with.
  5. I've heard a lot about extenders leaking. We've never used them; instead, we've used the long metal tire stems similar to these: Duallyvalve - Your dually solution! (yourtireshopsupply.com)
  6. Nevada's roads are good. Arizona's are pretty good, too, with the exception of a stretch of I-10 west of Phoenix. It's been a number of years since we've been that way, so it may have been resurfaced by now.
  7. Ray, IN said Canada *may* cancel...just an opinion, but nothing official. However, I tend to agree with Ray...with the rapid increase in COVID among the unvaccinated, I wouldn't doubt that Canada will rethink their opening date.

    Trading Up

I noticed they'd totally changed their website...thought I was on the wrong one at first! Here's the one for travel trailers: Travel Trailer Towing Weight Calculator - Changing Gears (changingears.com)

    Trading Up

This may be the calculator Ray meant to include in his post: Fifth Wheel Towing Weight Calculator - Changing Gears (changingears.com)
  11. I really don't care one way or another since I never pay any attention to them, anyway.
  12. X2. Although we use a Trav'ler rather than a dome, the Pathway X2 is the only dome I'd consider if we were going to go that way.
  13. We had a Girard tankless water heater which I hated. I hated it so much that this year we took some of our money received from the government and had it replaced with a tank water heater. People with the Truma tankless water heaters seem to like theirs and I might have switched to that, but to have one installed was even more expensive than having a tank water heater installed (the Truma alone cost as much as what we paid to have the tank water heater installed).
  14. If you click on the words "Picture Posting" it should take you directly to the post. Your link takes me to what I assume is the main page of the RV.NET Photo Posting page, but no photos.
  15. Have you checked the Classified section on the Lazy Daze Owner's Group Forum?
  16. We are Dish customers and have a Winegard Trav'ler on the roof with a Hopper 3 receiver. With this setup, we can watch a program while at the same time recording multiple other programs no matter which satellite any of the programs are on. If we brought our Joey along, we could also watch a second TV, but we leave it at home. We mostly boondock, so sitting under trees that block the satellite dish isn't a problem. However, if we were often blocked by trees, I'd probably get a Winegard Pathway X2 dome satellite dish, even though that would limit what we could do (in our case, we'd have to bring along another receiver such as a Wally to work with the dome since the Hopper 3 doesn't work with domes). If I were going to stick with just a dome, it would be the Winegard Pathway X2 with the Wally receiver, like this: Pathway X2 Portable Satellite TV Antenna and DISH Wally HD Receiver Bundle | Winegard Company
  17. Another great automobile museum is the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum in Auburn, IN.
  18. I know other mail services do this, because we had our SD mail service handle vehicle registrations. However, does the Escapees mail service in SD handle vehicle registrations? I'm not sure they do, so best to contact them to inquire. All the forms you need are available online, so you *could* handle the registration yourself, but it would be much easier for someone familiar with the process to do it for you (for a small fee, of course).
  19. I don't know how to get rid of it, but you CAN change the city it shows. Open it up and then in the blue box in the upper right-hand corner, click on the three dots and Edit Location.
  20. We've always used the hotspot on our phone to connect to the Internet (we're with Verizon). Verizon's newest plan, Get More Unlimited, offers 50GB per month of data and 30GB of hotspot use (per device). So, for 4 devices, you'd get 120GB of hotspot use. Unlike many MVNOs that "share" data limits between devices and between phone/hotspot usage, Verizon's (and, I assume, AT&T and T-Mobile) data limits and hotspot limits are separate and per device. In other words, if an MVNO offers, say, 30GB of data per month, that 30GB would be shared among all devices and hotspot usage. With Verizon's Get More Unlimited plan, the 50GB data and 30GB hotspot is per device...no sharing. You might check into Verizon-owned Visible which is truly unlimited. It's $40 per month per device or $25 per month per device if you join a Party Pay group. The only catch is that each device needs its own account with a separate email address for each.
  21. Check into Verizon's Get More Unlimited Plan -- 50GB of data per month per device plus 30GB per month for the hotspot.
  22. We have a Trav'ler for Dish on the roof of our RV with a Hopper 3 receiver. However, if I were to go with a dome antenna, I'd get the Winegard Pathway X2 with a Wally receiver. The Pathway X2 can be used with 2 receivers and is capable of receiving both the Eastern and Western arcs. https://winegard.com/products/satellite-tv/portable-antennas/pathway-x2/pathway-x2

    Tires

We're thinking of doing this, too. At what age do you replace the front tires? We bought six new tires in August of 2018, so nearly three years ago.
  24. The avatar is the photo you see in each person's post to the left inside a circle. I believe what RVRog is looking for is the signature line.
