billr Posted April 18, 2013 Report Share Posted April 18, 2013 We made it back up to Northern Ontraio on Sunday and a nice pile of snow was waiting! Clear roads up on Sunday though. The Soo locks are still froze over. Had to have the park entrance and drive plowed just to get rig in. No where to turn around at all. Come on Rain!! We had a great time at the ECR in Crossville TN. Great folks and a great park there too. Enjoyed meeting everyone too. Time to get back to work!! They are staying near here on their way back to their summer base, and we got to meet up with them a couple of times over the past few days. Spent today cruising the hill country along the Ohio river, stopped at three wineries, and had supper with them. Such a fun couple. After leaving the ECR we stopped at Fort Campbell, Ky and stayed at the FamCamp then on to Rising Sun, IN and the Little Farm on the River to visit with Susan & Rick Pope (Rickeieio). We stayed 4 days at Bob Strohofer's shop (Robert's Quality RV Repair) for some maintenance and upgrades (see thread on Bearing Service & Tire Upgrade). Stop in and say hello if you are in the Harrisburg area or traveling along I-81. Poor thing hadn't had a proper bath since Alberta. I need to find a place to get my wheels polished and the trailer and truck waxed. Needs the old wax stripped first, I have the correct stripper. Anywhere between Oakley KS and Atlanta GA would work. Anyone have ideas?
