RKMoezee
I had a small coolant leak when cold I wasn't loosing much but I couldn't leave it. I bought all the parts i could think of and fixed several things while in there ( i broke off all the egr valve bolts)and had to have a machine shop remove. It cost me 2k in parts and about 3 full days and a few days on waiting for machine shop. Has anyone ever seen the turbo gasket? It's about half the size of the opening I checked several sources and they said it was the right gasket but doesn't seem right. Any one want to see more pictures I'll post up Ron

rickeieio
Yes, when you have to fix things, it can get pricey. But then it lasts forever, plus a little. Over the 9 years we've had our truck, I've spent perhaps $15k in repairs. How much would I have stuck in a smaller truck, and what would it be worth now? BTW, I like your truck. RKMoezee
I knew I would have to do some maintenance but didn't expect this. I had it singled by a locale guy anybody in Southern California needs a guy I can recommend the guys who did mine. The truck is a early 2010 and has the 13F engine in it so no DEF and the tanks are 100 each. Next thing I'm going to do is weed burner exhaust then a motorcycle garage. New driver seat then I'll be close to done. I'll be looking for the 5 wheel then. 29 months till retirement. All of the coolant hoses are new now and I put in fleetgaurd OAT coolant for the longevity. The truck is persimmon color my wife calls him Percy. Thanks everyone Iddy
